Chapter 29

*OLIVIA'S P.O.V*

It all happened so fast.. George standing up to face John, the bullet being shot...

But, not at George. John's cold, dead body lay on the floor in front of us, George towering over him with heavy breathing. He has got there first.

*GEORGE'S P.O.V*

Seeing that gun again, another gun being pointed at my only friends in the world, it just pushed me right over the edge. I knew I had to do something.

I moved slightly in my position, gripping Olivia tight, as I felt something hard. Then I remembered.. My gun.

I stood up, pulling it out my back pocket swiftly and pulling the trigger. It all happened in the space of around 3 seconds.. After 5 or so, John was dead and gone.

I looked down at him, pride and accomplishment filling my body. The guards held their guns up, all surrounding me.

Didn't think of that.

Josh stood up beside me, followed closely by the others, I pulled a shaking Olivia close to my chest, kissing her head while still looking around us.

One of the guards stepped forward, pointing a gun in our direction whilst leaning over to look at John's body.

"He's dead." He stated to the other guards. I sighed heavily, unaware of what they were gonna do.. But I knew it wouldn't be pretty.

Suddenly, they lowered there guns so they fell to their sides, hanging my a shoulder strap.. To applause?

I looked round at them all, seeing the boys and Olivia doing the same, the guards were all smiling, looking at me.

"We've been waiting for this to happen. His control and power only caused hurt and pain." One of the guards said, stepping forward and bowing his head at me.

"Then why didn't you do it before any of this could happen?!" Olivia asked.

"All about loyalty and jobs, ma'm." He nodded his head at her, "But now that he's gone.. We can finally change this damn world."

OLIVIA'S P.O.V*

And that's exactly what they did. What we did. We brought back normality to the World.. Everyone, everything was back. Apart from John of course, but that was a damn good thing.

It's been 3 months since the Human Race was brought back, some things are still in repair but the main thing is, everyone is here.

Jacob, my friends, my family, my home..

George and the boys had got back to work, releasing a new song that would have been out before 'it' happened. Its now the tune to the new National Anthem of a World reborn.

We all got knighted.

The door bell rang, I smiled and looked at the clock. Right on time.

"Bye mum!" I smiled, hugging her tightly before going to the door.

I opened it, revealing the gorgeous, clean face of George. His hair styled in light curls and dressed in black jeans and a white shirt and backpack.

"Ready?" He smiled, gesturing to the mini van. I smiled and nodded.

He quickly popped his head round the door to say hi to my mum before I shut the door.

"No need to kiss ass anymore you know?" I winked at him, following his lead to the mini- van at the end of my driveway.

"No, but there is a need to be polite." I smirked at me, opening the door.

I pulled my tongue out at him and got in, followed by him before closing the door.

"Hey Liv!" The chorus' came. Josh, JJ, Jaymi and JJ's girlfriend, Caterina and Jaymi's fiancé, Olly.

"Helloo!" I cheesed back as the driver pulled away.

I cuddled into George, looking up to him before out the window.

"It's a beautiful life." He whispered to me, kissing my head before looking out the window too.

It sure is.
