*GEORGE'S P.O.V*

We were all sat on the floor of the storage room, it was now silent out in the shop so evidentally, the zombies had given up on us... thankfully.

"If we go in this direction, we could get to the Thames, follow the river down and prgress to the right and carry on that way." Olivia suggested as we all huddled around a map of the UK we'd found in the back room. We - They were looking for the fastest way to the Manchester Camp. They might as well have been looking for what the quickest way of execution for me was.

"Can we not go to the Wales one instead?" I pity fully suggested, earning confused looks all round apart from JJ who just sighed.
"What? No. That would take us much longer, George." Jaymi said, shaking his head.

"It's dangerous out on the streets, the sonner we get to a camp, the safer we will be." Josh added.

"The safer you'll be." I mumbled. I sound like a right dick right now, but they didn't understand at all. Only JJ knew what would happen to me if I showed my face at that camp, and if the Boss knew that Olivia and the boys were with me, they won't get a nice welcoming either.

"Maybe we should go to that one?" JJ said, looking at me softly before pointing to Wales on the map. I smiled slightly and nodded my head in thanks.

"Why!? What's wrong with you two? Do you want us to be killed!?" Josh hissed, shaking his head in dis belief at both me and JJ.

"No! I don't want anyone to die! That's why we need to go to the one in Wales!!" JJ yelled, slamming his finger down on the map again.

Everything fell silent.

"What to you mean?" Olivia asked, standing up. JJ opened his mouth to speak but then hesitated and looked at me for help.

"Nothing, We just... we just like Welsh people..." I hurried, realizing what I just said and quickly trying to change the subject...

"...We better set off if we're going to reach Manchester this week." I said, standing up and quickly giving my trousers a casual brush down. Olivia gave me a confused look, raising her eyebrow at me. I didn't know what else to do other than to smile at her and act... normal. It worked and she shook her head, smiling at me, before sitting back down with the others.

JJ stood up and stomped over to me, his face hard. "Do you want to be killed, man!?" He hissed, as quietly as he could.

"Of course not, you Tosser! But Josh is right, we're in more danger out in the open. At least you guys will be safer when we get there." I said.

"But you won't!" He sighed, shaking his head at me. His face was so torn, so hurt. It killed me to think that I'd only just got them back, and they'd only just got me back, and we're already in life threatening danger... and not because of the zombies.

"Hey, Hey..." I sighed, putting my finger under his chin to raise his face to look at me. I looked at him deep in the eyes. "I'll think of something, it will be alright. I promise." I whispered, not taking my eyes off his.

He sniffed, but nodded. He quickly patted my back before standing up, leaving me to think.

*OLIVIA'S P.O.V*

We'd chosen our route, got out of the street safely, and we were now on our way to Manchester. It's obviously going to take a seriously long time to get from here to there, but if we were all safe in the end, I didn't care.

I was gripping onto George's hand tight as we made our way down along the edge of the RIver Thames. The water was still there, but it was silent and still. No fish making ripples in the water and no gushing water making bubbles from the pipes leading into it. It was completely dead. Just like the rest of London.

Suddenly, George pulled me out of my thought by stopping abruptly, tugging on my hand. "Huh? What is it?" I whispered. He looked at me, wide eyed, then looked streight ahead.
"Guys, stop. Now." He turned to the others just behind us, they looked up and stopped just as quickly as George did.

In front of us were a full barrier of zombies. Completely blocking off our path.

Shit.
