*OLIVIA'S P.O.V*

I woke up, my head felt as if my whole skull had been taken out and broken, before being shoved back into my head. The rattle noise buzzed around my head, causing my eyes to squint shut in pain.

I eventually opened my eyes to have a look at where I was. It was a cell type thing, underground by the looks of the damp walls and running pipes. It felt like I was in a pirate movie, being held hostage in the bottom of the ship.

My cell connected with another, one wall acting as 2 walls for both cells. I could see into the other one, through the crossed metal bars, there was someone there. But, I couldn't see there face, they were lying the other way.

But, one thing that scared me the most, was not the damp, not the insects and animals that would surely be in here, not the dark.. It was that I was alone. No George. No boys. No light.

My lip began to tremble and I brought my knees up to my chest, my head burrowing in too. At least one good thing will come out of this.. I would soon be with my family and friends.. I'd be able to see Jacob again and get to thank him properly.

Suddenly, a choking cough coming from the cell beside me made me jump. The person was waking up. I didn't think, my cut instinct was to go to the cell wall, so that's what I did.

"Hey! Hey, are you alright!?" I hissed, wrapping my hands around the crossed bars and positioning my head through one of the gaps so I could see clearly through.

They didn't answer, the just coughed again, followed by repetitive cursing, as if they didn't hear me.

"Excuse me!" I tried again, feeling desperate to know where the fuck I am.

"Can you shut up for a second! I'm trying to think!!!" Their voice hissed, it sounded all cracked and hoarse. As if they hadn't had a drink in weeks.

Even so, I would always recognise his voice..

"JACOB!?" I cried, shoving my hand through the gap.

The boy turned around suddenly, no light leaked into the room, but I could instantly recognise him.

It was Jacob.

He was alive...

"OLIVIA!? OH MY GOD.." He cried, pulling himself over to the wall. I gripped his hand so tight, tears threatening to never stop falling.

"I thought you were dead!!!" I stuttered through relieved cries.

"I.. I'm sorry! I thought you were!!!" He gasped, I could now see that his sea-blue eyes were drowned in tears.

"What?" I gasped back.

"When I left, I ran to the end shop for some stuff, as you know, and this truck thing hauled up beside me. That's when I noticed that zombies were slowly surrounding the place. The man in the truck said he would help me, and I refused to go without you. He, he said I was the only human around here... That I'd imagined you all this time. I thought it was completely crazy, but he said that it happens often whenever he finds strays, its out of grief and loss. So, I went with him. I'm in here because when I saw how many people there were in this camp, I knew you were there with me back in London, for real. So, I demanded to speak to the Boss. Which, I did.. But then I woke up here." He explained, tears never stopping.

"Oh, Jacob!" I laughed hoarsely as I stroked his cheek softly.

He poked his arm through as well and gripped my hand in his.

"We're together now, that's all that matters..." I whispered, pressing my forehead further into his.

We were just staring into each others eyes. Embracing having my best friend back, who I thought was gone forever.

"CELL 5 IS FREE, SIR." I heard a voice boom from just outside the door. I quickly pulled back and so did Jacob, I lay back down and pretended to go back to sleep after seeing Jacob to the same.

I opened my eyes halfway to see a large busky man stroll into the room. The room had a square centre with block cells surrounding the outer bit.

He had someone in his arms...

George.

My breath quickened and eyes narrowed as I watched George's unconscious body swing limply in the mans arms.

I wanted to shout out his name, but I didn't. I just stayed quiet. It would just make things worse, he's going to put him in a cell in the room.

"Number 5 it is then." I heard John say behind the guard carrying George.

He put him into the cell next to me, this made me both happy but scared. Surely, John knows I'm in here but he is still putting George next to me? He wanted this to happen. Telling Jacob that I was dead.. Did he want me and George to meet all along!?

"What about these two?" The guard said after dropping George, literally, onto his cell floor and locking up the gate.

I fluttered my eyes open slowly, only a little, to see that John's head was turned to both mine and Jacob's cells, a smirk on his scarred face.

"Leave them until we're ready." His voice hissed, earning a chuckle from the guard.

"And what about the other 3?" He asked, walking over to John.

"What they don't know, won't hurt them." He replied smugly before spitting on the ground and strolling out of the room.

The Guard glanced around at us one last time before walking out as well and locking the door.

Silence.

"Liv? Liv are you alright?" I heard Jacob whisper. It felt so weird, I smile just thinking about it, my best friend is back. He's here with me.

"Yeah, I'm fine!" I smiled at him, sitting up. He smiled back before averting his eyes to George's cell.

"Do you think that boy's alright??" He asked, trying to look through one of the gaps.

I could see him, though. He was lying limply on the floor, I could see his face. All of the usual light and colour had gone and he was as pale as paper, his eyes were closed, but he wasn't rested. And his hair, his gorgeous hair, was tossled and spiked out in different directions.

I felt tears prickle my eyes as I crawled over to him, well as far as I could get before the cubed metal bars stopped me.

"George.. George?" I croaked, he was too far center for me to reach, but instinct told me to reach out anyway.

Obviously, it made no difference.

The tears were rolling down my cheeks now, I wanted to look away from him, but I just couldn't.

"Is he okay?" Jacob called.

I turned around, forgetting about the tears, and shook my head.

"Are you.. Are you crying!?" Jacob gasped, poking his arms through the gaps.

I crawled over to him, sitting against the bars so his arms wrapped partly around my shoulders.

"Do you know him?" He asked, stroking my hair gently.

I nodded, "He saved me."

"Oh, so its just been you and him?" He asked again, sounding a little jealous.

"N-no. 3 others, his friends.. I don't know where they are!" I cried.

"Oh, is that who the guard was talking about?" He sighed, biting his lip.

I just nodded, ever lasting tears streaming down my face.

"Come here.." He soothed, pulling my in further so my cheek rested on part of his through the bars.

It was more than amazing to have him back, but that doesn't solve this whole fucked up situation.
