"Wow." Evelyn said, looking around the ballroom in awe as she and Asmodeus walked in arm in arm.

"Impressed?" Asmodeus asked her.

Evelyn nodded her head and looked around the room at shiny wooden paneled floor, the peach colored walls and the candles that were placed at specific intervals along the ballroom wall while listening to the faint echoes of music that drifted around the ballroom. "Is the room actually open to the elements, and what happens if it rains?" Evelyn asked, looking up at where there should have been a ceiling but instead there was nothing but open air and the sight of the always full moon surrounded the blood red sky.

"Well rain is a rare occurrence in hell, so that is not much of a worry. But if anything were to happen there is a shield that prevents anything from entering." Asmodeus said as they continued to walk further into ballroom.

"Really? There is? Because I don't see anything." Evelyn said, finally looking away from the sky and at Asmodeus.

"That's because, little one, it's invisible." Asmodeus said just as someone came up to greet him.

"Hello Asmodeus." A white-haired man with a blond on his arm said as he walked up to them and extended his arm.

"Hello Aeshma, are you enjoying the ball?"Asmodeus asked as he shook his hand.

"Immensely so, you guys have out done yourself this time. The music is grand and the decorations are spectacular." Aeshma said.

"Glad you are enjoying it, and I hope that your date is as well." Asmodeus said, referring to the blond standing by Aeshma's side.

"Of course I am." The girl said.

"Glad to hear it Slinah." Asmodeus said.

"And is you date enjoying the ball?" Aeshma asked him.

"I don't know." Asmodeus said. "Are you Evelyn?" Asmodeus asked, turning towards her.

Evelyn nodded her head. "We just got here, but it looks really interesting so far." She said nervously.

Asmodeus turned back around to face Aeshma who had his eyebrows raised in question.

"A human Asmodeus?" Aeshma asked.

Asmodeus shrugged.

"To each his own." Aeshma said as Slinah tugged on his sleeve to get his attention. "Yes Slinah?" He asked looking down at her.

"Let's dance." Slinah said, nodding her head towards the dance floor.

"Okay. Till I see you again Asmodeus." Aeshma said, walking away with Slinah alongside him.

"Till then." Asmodeus said to their retreating figure. "I would advise you avoid them." Asmodeus said to Evelyn once the couple had made it to the dance floor and was out of hearing range.
