Meeting Sloth

"Hey, I have a question." Evelyn said to Asmodeus as she sat down on his bed.

"What is it?" He asked as he leaned against the wall.

"Did Lucifer really fall?"

"Now why would I tell you that, it's so much more amusing to have you wondering."Asmodeus said, amused.

"Hey!-" Evelyn started, angrily, but was interrupted by a knocking at the door.

"Come in." Asmodeus called, and in walked Belphegor.

"Satan's yelling for you. You should go before he comes here in search of you." He told Asmodeus.

"Okay, I guess I have to go then." Asmodeus turned to Evelyn. "Don't move." He told her.

"Yes, yes. Don't move and stay here like a good girl. I know what to do." She told him, annoyed.

Asmodeus chuckled as he turned and left the room.

Belphegor turned to Evelyn. "So you're Asmodeus's little human, are you."

Evelyn clenched her fists. "Yes." She replied "And you're Belphegor. Tell me are you really so lazy that you had to get the title of the demon of sloth?"

Belphegor raised his eyebrows. "I would prefer to think not since I did walk all the way here to get your boyfriend."

Evelyn narrowed her eyes but otherwise ignored the boyfriend comment. "Then how did you become the demon of sloth."

"There are only two ways that you can become a demon of the seven deadly sins. One way is for one of the previous demons to die and the power automatically passes to the next most powerful demon or for the demon to will the power to you."

"Which way did you get your power?"

"My brother." He whispered, suddenly looking incredibly sad. "He willed the power to me as he was dying." Just as quickly it happened the moment passed and his sad expression was replaced by a playful one. "If you were a sin which one would you be?" He asked.

"I don't know, it's not something I've often thought about." She replied rolling her eyes.

"Well I personally think you would make a excellent demon of envy. You would make all the girls jealous." He said with a wink.

Evelyn laughed and shook her head.

"Hey you should stop flirting with the human before Asmodeus gets back." Mammon said, glancing between them with his golden eyes as he walked into the room. Just before the door fully closed it swung open again and in walked Asmodeus.

"Too late now I guess." Mammon said, grinning

"Yeah, thanks for the warning." Belphegor said, rolling his eyes.

"Both of you, get out of my room." Asmodeus said as he sat down on the bed beside Evelyn.

"Why, want to be alone with your human." Belphegor said.

"Just get out."

"Fine. Bye human." Belphegor said as he and Mammon turned to leave.

"My name is Evelyn!" She yelled after them as the door closed.

"What did Satan want with you?" Evelyn asked Asmodeus.

"Nothing really he just wanted some advice on attacks that are taking place near a small city. Did you have fun while I was gone?" He asked turning towards her.

Evelyn grinned. "Most definitely, you certainly have interesting friends."

Asmodeus laughed. "I most certainly do."
