Charlie opened her eyes wide, only to see the inside of the bus she was in only last night. The bus was silent as she looked to where the creature had been last night.

Where was it?

The brunette girl took in the others reactions before noticing a tight grip around her waist. She looked behind her to see Ben, holding her close to him with a deathly grip.

The quiet boy looked down at her with concern and confusion as she smiled up at him allowing him to relax but not taking his arms away fully just in case.

The eye contact was cut off abruptly by Ashlyn pushing Aiden's arms off her, whispering, "Duck!"

Everyone ducked down in the gap between the back door and the back seats of the bus. Charlie was on one knee next to Ben, who was crouched down.

Tyler was the first to speak, addressing Ashlyn knowing she could hear it, "Still here?" He whispered.

Ashlyn didn't speak but nodded at him, a cautious and slightly scared look across her face.

Taylor saw on both knees next to Charlie, a terrified look on her face making the girl put a hand on her scared friend, trying to ignore the shaking of her own hands.

"What do we do?" The Hernandez girl whispered, her voice shaking slightly.

Ashlyn stayed quiet for a minute before sighing, "We'll have to try and kill it."

This caused Charlie to scoff quietly, "Great suggestion, Ash. Truly amazing, uh, one thing though, how exactly are supposed to do that?!" The brunette girl whisper-yelled to the ginger girl making her look at her with a unamused expression.

"We could have Logan shoot it through the window?" Aiden's somehow joyful voice whispered. By the look on Logan's face he was not all for that suggestion, his eyes wide as he looked at the blonde boy in front of him.

"No." Ashlyn quickly shut down the misuse of their most valuable weapon, "The gun is for emergencies only."

"This is an emergency!" Tyler whisper yelled at the ginger causing Ashlyn to snap back at him.

"An emergency is a swarm or one of us is about to die."

"She's right." Charlie said, her tone unusually serious gaining a few looks from the group, "We don't have that many bullets, and we need them for worst case scenarios."

"Thank you Charlie." Ashlyn said, looking pointedly at Tyler who huffed and turned away, "We should try and kill it with our weapons first-"

Unfortunately, Charlie being on Ashlyn's side didn't last long as she cut the girl off, "I swear if you said kill it with our weapons. Need I remind you they are at the front door, with the monster."

The brunette's tone was rushed as she started to think Ashlyn had forgotten why they were pressed against the back door of the bus in the first place.

Her thoughts were cut off but the steady steps of the creature they are hiding from. Ashlyn shushed them, mainly Charlie, pressing a finger to her lips.

She looked down for a second, thinking, before speaking, "Hide under the seats."

The group do as she said, crawling under the bus seats, Tyler with Taylor under the seats in-front of Ben and Charlie, and Logan and Aiden under the seats in-front of Ashlyn, who insisted she will be find hiding on her own.

Charlie held her breath as she listened to the quiet steps of the monster. She closed her eyes briefly to steady her mind when she felt a hand on hers. Her eye's shot open to look at her hand to see Ben's hand on hers. A wash of warmth rushed over her as she looked over to the boy next to her, giving a reassuring smile as she saw the worried look on his face.

Out of the corner of her eye, she sees Ashlyn shuffling up the bus slowly. Until her knee scraped against the floor making a noice. Charlie's eyes went wide when she heard how loud the noice actually was.

Ashlyn squeezed her eyes shut before looking back to look for anything lurking because of the noice she made. But, of course, she looked the wrong way

The creature had been stood on the chairs in-front of her, the noice causing it to twist its body to look underneath, looking straight at Ashlyn.

Charlie screamed, "Ashlyn!" The creature had already seen them so there was no use in trying to be discreet.

As the brunette girl yelled, trying to crawl out from under the chairs, Ashlyn looked in-front of her, coming face to face with the monster.

Charlie scurried out from her hiding place, Tyler and Taylor doing the same, both yelling for Ashlyn. As the Phantom tried to slash its claws at the ginger girl, she tried rolling out of the way, only for one of her braids to get caught in its grasp, pulling her back towards it as she yelled out.

"Get the weapons!" She yelled to no one in particular.

Charlie dashed to the box a few metres from her, shortly followed by Ben, Taylor and Tyler. Aiden and Logan had found their way up onto the chairs, the lair watching out for Ashlyn to assist if needed.

Charlie grabbed her Knives from the box before quickly turning back to Ashlyn, only to find her lifted up out of the way on the phantom by Aiden. Her mind eased a bit before the trio screamed as a clawed hand sliced at their feet.

They all jumped off the seats and ran back to the other end of the bus, the creature following them.

Charlie Watched as Aiden grabbed hold of the creatures hands and swung it around in a circle before landing flat on a seat and kicking it up and out of the window.

Charlie took the opportunity to rush over and slam the window shut on the monster's body, holding the window down to trap it.

Before she can check if anyone had killed it or hurt it, Charlie felt a sharp pain cross over her abdomen, causing her to yell out in pain and let got of the window.

The brunette girl fell back onto the isle between the seats, her eyes quickly closing.

"Charlie!"

Everything went black.
