[S1] Episode Four

Charlie's POV

I try to put my head down, not really in the mood to chat to anyone.

Especially not new people.

I didn't like anyone I knew now, let alone anyone new trying to be apart of my life.

I hear a slight thud in front of me and glance up, only to see the two boys sat in the seats in front of me.

The tall one is sat next to the window, directly in front of me, while the blonde one is sat in the seat next to it.

He, unlike his tall friend, is turned the opposite way in his seat and faces me.

I draw my eyes back down just as I see his mouth move.

I take my earbud out, not wanting to be really rude. "Sorry, what was that?" I ask, regretting it immediately.

"Hi! I'm Aiden, and this is my cousin Ben." The boy says, gesturing to the tall boy, Ben, who looks back at me briefly before smiling slightly and turning away.

"We're new here!" The boy, Aiden, finishes.

"No, really?" I say, the usual level of sarcasm dripping from my tone.

"Yeah!" Aiden answers, completely oblivious to the fact that I wasn't being serious.

"Right..." I say, my earbud slowly making its way closer back to my ear.

As I'm about to put it in, I hear Aiden practically scream.

"OOO, what do you recon that place is?" He says, leaning over his cousin to press against the window of the bus, Ben trying to sit him back down.

"That, is what we call the school bus graveyard." I say in the most ominous voice I could, making him look at me with curiosity.

"Really?!" He yells making me close my eyes by the loudness.

"Yep." I answer, just wanting him to be quiet.

"Why do they call it that?!" He continues.

Luckily for me, the daughter of the owner of the yard got on the bus and sat in front of Aiden and Ben.

"Well, why don't you ask her? She's the one that lives there."

I say getting him to leave me alone for as long as I can.

"Hi!" I hear him say as my earphones go back in my ears and I unpause me music.

I have a feeling this is gonna be a long year.

The bus stops and everyone rushes to get off, while I know better and stay sat down until everyone in front if me is off.

I watch as everyone files out, looking up the bus isle. As I'm scanning, I notice Ben is still in the bus, but Aiden has gotten off.

When I stand up to get off, I noticed he stood up too, letting me go past him and walking behind me off the bus.

I pear behind me to see him looking back at a group of guys.

The group of guy that have been giving me a bit of trouble and a few trying to get in my pants.

I smile a bit.

Once off the bus, I walk a little faster to get into the school, knowing I'll have to rush to my locker as it's on the other side of the building.

I take no notice of the poor girl I kinda through in the deep end on the bus, but hey?

Better her then me.
