Josh's POV
I finally spotted Nicole walking toward me with the new shirt on that she had bought from the booth. My mouth went slightly agape as I saw that her shirt was way to low for my liking as her boyfriend. I mean, she was a beautiful girl and everyone knew that. I loved her shirt, but I felt overprotective as her boyfriend. Something like that was for my
eyes and my eyes only.
I sighed and met her halfway taking her hands in mine. "Babe, that shirt is a bit... Umm..."
"Yea I know. They don't sell any other shirts around here for some weird reason. Until I find another booth with a more appropriate shirt, this will have to do." she leaned over to me and pecked me on the lips quickly before smiling that gorgeous smile of hers.
"Its okay," I replied. "I like this shirt anyways." I joked winking.
"Uh huh, I'm sure you do," she giggled and walked back to the bench grabbing her bear in one hand and my hand in the other. Her purse was slung around her arm.
The bear was covering up anything that was visible and I suddenly felt more secure. I looked around for something to do next.
I watched as Nicole checked her phone for the time and realized a low grumbling noise coming from my stomach. I groaned and quickly found a food booth nearby, dragging her along with me as I ran.
I quickly ordered a funnel cake and a hot dog since there was no line and flipped out my wallet impatient.
"And what would you like missy?" the man asked Nicole. He flashed her a quick smile before gesturing toward the menu.
"I think I'll just have the same as him." she offered a weak smile back.
"Oh, and I'm adding a Pepsi to that order." I said.
"Make that a diet Pepsi for me," she added.
I took her shoulders in my hands and turned her toward me. "You don't need diet, who needs fake sugar?" I offered a smile and she just shook her head.
"I do, silly."
I sighed giving up and taking our food from the man walking to one of the picnic tables. I took one of the ketchup packets and squeezed some onto my hotdog watching Nicole as she desperately tore at the packet trying to get it open. I snickered as she flung the ketchup at the table and started trying on one of the other ones.
I reached over and took the packet she had flung and flipped I over to the other end. I tore at the packet and it ripped easily. I handed it to her a smug look on my face before directing my attention back to my hot dog.
I felt a buzzing sound against my leg and I took out my phone. It was from Taylor, my ex-girlfriend. A.k.a brattiest bitch in the school. Her parents owned this huge oil company and stuff. I mean, Nicole was probably richer than her but still, Nicole didn't show it.
Taylor's probably the most popular girl in school right now, that's gonna change. Since Nicole's gotten here, everyone seemed to be paying more attention to her then Taylor. Before Nicole arrived, me and Taylor were expected to date. I was the popular guy, she was the popular girl. It was a given right?
But Taylor was the type of girl that bragged about how rich she was. She was a slut, always wearing low collar shirts and short skirts that barely covered her butt. She attacked any girl who came near me. Even when we weren't dating. I was surprised that Nicole hadn't been hit yet.
She had blonde hair, and blue eyes which was always covered in tons of make up. Don't get me wrong, she was hot, but treated everyone else like dirt.
