"Where in Gods name have you been! and why on earth so you have scratch marks on your arms?"

I knew it, I knew they would shout at me. They haven't even heard the full side of the story and their shouting? Jesus.

"Where was she?" Dad asked Rixon and Callum.

Rixon shook his head "Caleb I'm telling you we searched that wood three times and we couldn't sniff her out and then suddenly she walks out of these big doors and we smelt her scent. She must have had a magical barrier around her to hide her scent so we wouldn't find her"

I huffed "Do I get a chance to speak? because I'm feeling like I have no right to tell you my side of the story and you're just going to shout at me"
There were about seven adults, a four year old and a sixteen year old, I couldn't do this.

Mom sighed feeling irritated, her eyes were blood shot from crying. Dad held her closely and looked at me sympathetically, Dean and Isobelle didn't seem so angry they just looked glad I was alright so did Thalia and Rixon. Callum didn't have any emotion on his face what so ever.

"Fine" Dean spoke "Speak. What happened"

I fiddled with my thumbs as I spoke "Tom cheated on me last night at Jered's party and I wanted to come home, I called dad to pick me up but he was at a meeting so I called a cab instead. Then these two men and a boy roughly my age started following me and I tried to fly away but they used some rope to bring me to the ground" then I gestured to my arms "That's why I have marks"

When no one spoke I continued "I woke up at around 3am in a bedroom and they wouldn't let me leave"

"They?" Dad's jaw clenched.

"Yes they, they brought me to some institute for cross breed creatures like me. They don't want to hurt me they just want to keep me safe because apparently a daughter of a purified creature and a beast shouldn't exist. I talked to an old man called Coven and he explained everything to me, that institute is practically a safe haven for cross breeds. They don't want to hurt me they want to hep me" I took in a deep in and released it, I felt like I gave a speech to the whole of new York.

The room was silent, no one spoke and if people breathed they did it very quietly, Josh was falling asleep in Thalia's arms and I was glad he didn't have to witness this discussion, he was too small to be dragged into this.

"We moved to New York so you could be safe" Dad said.

"I am safe" I replied.

"Okay I don't know how this is going to sound" Callum finally chipped in, he leant off the wall and sighed "But I think if she's telling the truth-"

"I am" I cut him off.

"Okay so she's telling the truth. If these guys mean what they say I think she's safe with them, I mean come on if they wanted to kidnap her why would they let her go and she's barely hurt except for the scratches so that's a good sign is it not?" Thank God he was on my side.

Isobelle released a breath "I guess she is safe with them. I have heard of institutes like that I just didn't know they actually existed"

"They want me to go for regular Check ups" I mumbled "Coven said Noah will come to be every once in a while to take me back just for them to make sure I was okay and probably make me stay over night"

"I still don't know how I feel about this Elyza" Mom said in a slow voice.

"Neither am I" I told her "But I felt comfortable and safe there"

Dad sighed and glanced upon the adults in the room "Fine, but you come back and tell us everything that they did to you understand? if anything happens you run"
