Nineteen

Aric had powers of ice.

Of ice.

His body became an icy blue colour, so did his eyes. He released a breath which came out like frost.

"How do you-"

"Like I said" he grinned "There's things you don't know about Saccubus' "

What ever. I didn't like his sweet voice distract me. My hands lit up in a blaze and my eyes burned with fire, literally, like his eyes which had turned solid ice, mine turned to fire; moving and dancing, mimicking the flames of my hands.

"Fire and ice go head to head" Raven mumbled under her breath.

And fire is going to win.

"Ready" Noah called "Set. Go!"

Everything he touched became ice. He was clever to throw his hands to the floor and freeze me. A trail of ice ran along he floor and I was too slow to dodge, it froze my body instantly. I could still see him through the blueness of the ice, he was grinning acting as if he won, well he hasn't.

Noah's POV

I didn't know she was capable of such power. I didn't even know she could fight so well. The ice began melting slowly, until it broke and shattered into a million tiny pieces, which hit various students but didn't hurt them.

I gestured to the students to back away knowing this will be a tough battle.

Elyza went for a punch, a kick, a slap and she was pushing Aric to the corner of the room knowing he would have no where else to go. He was fast of course but she was fast also, he should know Ice will never succeed over fire but I guess he held on hope.

"You bitch!" Aric cursed. He went for a punch but she grabbed his hands twisted them and looked deep into his eyes. I didn't realise what she was doing until Aric's cry echoed and bounced off the walls. She burnt his hands so he couldn't use his ice. "You're not so smart Row" he grinned.

Elyza's POV

"You're not so smart Row" he grinned. I didn't know what he meant until the shock and pain penetrated and shot up my whole body. It felt like I had been paralysed, my hands shook and began to loose their grip on Aric's wrist.

"Oh my God!" I heard Someone from the corner scream. From the corner of my eye I saw Noah's body twitch, as if he wanted to interfere but I didn't want him too.

Blood dripped from my suit, the soft taps of the drips were heard in the silent room. Aric had stabbed me, in the back with his tail which was sharper than I thought. My breathing was heavy as I forced myself to look down, I whimpered as I saw the edge of a red knife like thing sticking out from my stomach.

Aric leaned in close "I win"

I couldn't cry. I couldn't leave here knowing I was defeated by the likes of Aric. Of all people. I merely looked at him and smiled "You forgot about my immortality"

In one move, I managed to release my wings, pull out Aric's tail and pull him into the air with me. The room we were in was high, very high. With Aric's body pressed against mine, I flew as high the ceiling and dropped him. I saw the fear and panic in his eyes as he tried desperately to grab hold of me to save himself.
