"Does this institute Kill people?"

Aric stopped chewing and narrowed his eyes at me before grinning wickedly. If only he knew what I saw last night. "They kill anyone who doesn't obey them"

I shivered.

"Aric, look at her face she's as white as a sheet your scaring her" Zoe interrupted.

Aric chuckled and brushed strands of my hair back. I couldn't say his hands weren't warm and soft I just scrunched my face and wondered why he would do such a gesture "No Eli they don't kill people, they protect"

I nodded slowly. They totally protected Ronah last night didn't they. We had our first day of lessons today, I had magic class with Coven and then Fight class with Noah, how embarrassing, I wasn't as good a fighter as the people here.

"Hey Eli"

Someone tapped my shoulder and I spun round to see the black haired Raven, her skin etched in tattoos, her posture showing all signs of danger but her smile was so bright and beautiful it was hard to be scared of her. "Hi Raven" I smiled.

"I'm in your Magic class" she grinned.

"So am I" Aric winked and stood to leave.

I rolled my eyes at him and grinned at Raven "That's great! We should probably go now, it's starting soon"

She nodded and waited for me to stand. As soon as my arm brushed hers I saw something, a spark of an image, it was like the whole world stood still and all I could see an image of a rope tired around a pale scarred neck.

Someone was hanged.

"Eli?" Raven asked "You okay?"

The world returned into motion.

"I'm fine" I said in an uneasy voice. But did I believe myself? No, I forced a smile and tried to ignore that image I saw "C'mon"

I was not expecting Noah to be stood beside Coven, eager and ready to start the class but we had to wear uniform. They were a charcoal Grey-Black colour, it was a body suit and I felt like Spider-Man except without the mask. It was itchy and uncomfortable not only was it tight fitting but Aric wouldn't stop staring at my bum and a guy called Wren, another one of the guys, wouldn't stop staring at my breasts.

What a lovely start to the lesson.

"Welcome to Magic class" Smiled Coven. He was an angel, dad was right, I could feel it in my bones "I've decided to merge your magic class with your fight class today, just for one day"

"What's with the suits?" Aric asked. Trying to scratch his back.

"Yeah" Raven added "Coven, you said we didn't have to wear these, they're so uncomfortable"

Everyone giggled and I found myself smiling too. She wasn't wrong, these suits were a real pain in the Arse, literally.

Coven laughed too "My apologies Mrs Grey, we can get you new suits if you wish?"

"Yes!" someone breathed.

"It was a joke" Coven said and smiled "Each of these suits are compatible with each and everyone of your powers and abilities, physical or not"

"So if I use my electricity the suit won't won't get shocked?" A guy called Josiah asked.

Coven nodded "Please, feel free to use your powers and try the suit out"

On cue people started pulling out claws and horns, bodily spikes which protruded from they're arms legs and not doing any damage to the suits. Aric chuckled as a red tail Spring from his lower back, long with a sharp spike at the end, he could stab and kill anyone with that. He grinned when he saw Me looking and teased me by attempting to stab my thigh with his tail.
