(A/n: I do wanna say, I'M SO SORRY FOR NOT UPDATING!! I've been busy with work and digging out of snow, and I've been having writer's block. I gave Alaska a bit of a redesign, and included her dragon form.)

Alaska and Jake were in dragon mode as they were out on their patrol of the city. The two spotted something under a park bridge and dove down, landing.

It was two goblins making a deal for a pixie.

"Sorry, yo." Jake got their attention as Alaska cracked her knuckles. "This sale's off."

"Let's hit it." The two dragon flew up and Jake dove for the goblins, but this was a distraction, since when the goblins jumped out of the way Alaska swooped in and snatched the pixie from them.

But Jake went too fast and slammed face first into the bridge.

"Jake!" Trixie and Spud came out of hiding from a bush and rushed to Jake as Alaska landed. "It's cool, Jake. We got your back."

Alaska's ear twitched and she turned just in time, freezing the two goblins with her ice breath. "Wow, intuition training with Leo paid off."

"Nice one, Frosty." Spud said, but then he slumped a bit. "Man, we're nothing but a couple of useless sidekicks."

"Uh, pump them breaks, we got useful all up in here." Trixie elbowed him as she smiled a bit. "What about the time we snuck Jake and Frost out of Pendarus tower?"

Spud then recounted the events. "Yeah, and into the jaws of Pendarus himself."

"Well, we saved Jake from Rottwood." Trixie said.

"After we sold him to Rottwood and Frost here tried to save him."

"Woah, dang, we reek yo." The two deflated.

Alaska shook her head as she let the pixie she saved out of its cage to be free. "Yeah, you guys did all those, but you also helped us out of those messes."

"Frost's right." Jake agreed with her.

"And I know my Aunt Garnet and Aunt Pearl could train you both if you asked." The ice dragon's face was hugged by the pixie. "They're both a little bored since I've been training with my brothers more."

The two smiled at the offer. "Thanks, Frosty."

The next day, Lao Chi, Jake, and Alaska got ready to go to a dragon retreat. It's mostly for young dragons and their masters to bond, but it was also a chance to relax.

Lao Chi slammed a trunk down on the floor of the shop.

"Easy, Gramps, we're only going for a weekend." Jake said as he saw the trunk.

"Luggage is like fibber." He told his grandson. "The more we have the more smoothly things will run."

"Now, when I was packing you said, 'Light luggage made for lighter burdens'." Jake held up his backpack.

Alaska was checking over her bag, making sure she had her communicator, art supplies, spare clothes, tooth brush, and what else she needed for the weekend. "Least you two didn't have Pearl hovering with a checklist."

Jake laughed a bit at that. "Yeah, she likes it neat."

"Now you two have finally learned, you two." Lao Chi smiled. "For every proverb, there is an equal and opposite proverb. Plus, this way you can carry mine."

He handed Jake the large trunk and the younger dragon struggled to hold it.

"Woah, there." Well, until the turtles showed up, Raph helping Jake. "Easy killer."
