It's A Shakespeare Thing

Epilogue

Three years later...

Raylin

It's amazing how much things can change in just a few years. As I watched Asher push Braxton and our three year old daughter, Emily on the swings. Braxton was an amazing big brother to Emily. No one messed with his little sister without answering to him. And Asher, Asher was everything I could have asked for in a man. He was a perfect husband and father. I knowwe have had our arguements, but Icouldn't ask for someone better to spend the rest of my life with.

"Hey Ray!" Ryan greeted me as he came walking up carrying his and Lauren's two year old daughter, Grace.

"Hey! Where's Lauren? We need to catch up,." I asked as I looked around for my sister-in-law.

"I'm here. I just had to grab all of Gracie's toys from the car." Lauren spoke as she shot a glare at her husband.

"I'm sorry babe. Grace was just so excited to come and play with Em that I forgot to grab them." Ryan apologized.

"Yeah, so what have you been up to?" Lauren asked as she sat on the park bench next to me.

"Well, baby number two will be here in March of next year." Lauren looked at me with a huge grin on her face.

"Oh my gosh! I am so excited for you!" I squealed.

It seemed as everything in mine and my twin brother's lives was falling into place. If only I could say the same for Cassio. My sweet little brother still held onto his love for Ellianna.

Ryan

"What do you think they are squealing about over there?" I asked Asher.

"Ray probably bought some new shoes or something." He shrugged.

"Women still confuse me." I shook my head as I watched my wife and twin sister talk.

"Me too, buddy. Me too. Most of the time I just agree to whatever Ray says." Asher admitted.

"Yeah, I do the same with Lauren." I agreed.

About thirty minutes later Gracie was getting ill. It was almost two which meant it was nap time. Emily was getting to be the same way. We all packed the kids up and went our separate ways. I loved the fact that even though Raylin and I had our own lives now we still made time for each other. We still had twin time at least once a month. The fact that Lauren and Ray were best friends help to keep me informed as to what was going i=on in my sister's life. I once would have relied on pills to help me cope, but now I have a beautiful wife and daughter to help me through the toughest of times.

Lauren and I got Gracie home and laid down for a nap. I couldn't help but notice that the smile she wore never seemed to leave her face. It made her that much more beautiful. I walked up to my wife and embraced her with a hug. I had to be the luckiest guy in the world to have her as mine.

"What's with the ever present smile on your face here lately?" I asked curiously.

"Hmmm... It's from knowing that I am carring your child." Lauren looked up at me with a huge smile on her face.

"Seriously! I swear this one better be a boy!" I exclaimed jokingly.

Scratch that. I was the luckiest guy in the universe. I had and amazing family. I cound't ask for a better personto spend the rest of my life with. I had a precious little girl and was about to be blessed with another child. What more could a guy ask for?

Cassio

I looked at the apartment I had called home for two years now. It was the same apartment Ray and Ry had lived in until they got married. I grabbed the last box off the floor from beside the door and walked out locking the door behind me for the last time. I was headed to the southern part of our state to accept an internship at a company that would literally jump start my career. If I took the internship the company was offering to pay for my last year of college as long as I went to the university they chose. I was all for a free ride.

"Is that the last box bro?" Ryan asked me.

"Yep. Did dad and Asher finish tying off the other stuff?" I asked.

"Everything is secure Cass." Asher reassured me.

"You ready to go, son?" Dad asked.

"Yeah, let's do this." I replied.

Once we arrived at my new apartment dad and the guys helped me unload everything. By six o'clock we had all the furnature and boxes unloaded and in the appropriate spots. All that was left to do was to start unpacking. I hated unpacking. I had the weekend to get settled in before I started my internship on Monday. I was starting to get hungry so I decided to see if everyone wanted to go out to eat since I didn't have grocieries yet.

"Hey, let's go get some grub." I suggested.

"Heck yeah! I'm starving." Ry exclaimed.

We all loaded up in dad's truck and headed to a local cafe. It looked like it had the same things as Cafe Solae back home. We walked ion and the hostes showed us to our table. Soon enough our waitress showed up. My jaw almost hit the floor. No, it couldn't be.

"Ellianna." I said softly.

"Cassio? What are you doing here?" Ellianna asked defensively.

"I live here now. I took and internship with Abbott and Company." I replied still in shock.

"Oh, well that's cool. I'll be right back." I watched as she scurried away.

Ellianna never did return to our table. Another waitress was sent to serve us. I didn't see her for the rest of the night, but I knew she was there. We were in the same town now and more than likely we would be attending the same university. It was fate. It had to be. I never gave up on loving her and now here she was right under my nose. This time I would fight for our love. This time, I wouldn't just let her walk away.
