Asher: Um...well, I'm 15. And D's 13 so when we finish high school. *grins*
D: Ugh! High school is so far away! *whines*
Asher: *chuckles* We go next year, Sunshine. That leaves five years. *frowns* Oh.
D: *sighs* Yeah.
Asher: Well, in five years we can get engaged and then we can have a wedding, and then we'll have a honeymoon. And-
D: *blushes* Honeymoon?
Asher: Yeah, like that thing couples-
D: I know what a honeymoon is, that's just kind of embarrassing. *laughs*
Asher: Why is it- Oh. O_O *blushes*
D: Yeah. *blushes more* Oh wait. *frowns* What about my dad?
Asher: I don't have to get his blessing, do I?
D: *sighs* Yes.
Asher: *groans* Your dad hates me!
D: *sighs* I know.
Asher: *pouts* Why doesn't he like me? I just don't understand! I gave him the biggest piece of steak at dinner! It was supposed to be for me but I wanted to be generous! The biggest gosh dang piece of steak! *crosses his arms*
D: *laughs* I know you did.
Asher: I have a strange feeling it's gonna be like, *sings* Can I have your daughter for the rest of my life? Say yes, say yes 'cause I need to know. You say I'll never get your blessing till the day I die. Tough luck my friend but the answer is no! *sighs*
D: *laughs* Sounds accurate. But-?
Asher: *grins* But we both know I don't take no for an answer. *sings* I'm gonna marry her anyway. Marry that girl. Marry her anyway. Marry that girl. Yeah, no matter what you say. Marry that girl. And we'll be a family.
