✶My sun
-acb.
To be loved, is to be known
My love to you came like the sun,
Warm, precious—glowing.
Oh how you pulled me
—like a moth drawn to a flame.
To be loved is to feel the sun from both sides.
Before you, darkness was all I knew.
You say loving you is hard,
But why did my love for you
Came flowing through and true?
Oh my darling,
My shining light,
My sight, my night,
My whole day long.
From the first glance,
I saw through you.
From your first words,
I knew you.
I am seeking, I am striving, I am in it with my whole heart.
If I cannot be wanted,
Then let me be needed,
And if I cannot be needed,
Then let me be used
'Til there's nothing left of me.
I desire you violently,
And I wait,
I wait for you to cast your light upon me,
I wait for you you to spare me a single glance.
I want to crawl inside your body—find you
Where you're most ruined, and love you.
I will give you my heart,
If you have the stomach to take it.
For I fear that I may love you more
I am ever allowed to.
You are my sun,
The sun that shines a light
Upon my dark corners,
The sun that gives warmth
through my cold winters.
You are my sun,
And I am your Icarus.
I recognised you the moment I felt your rays,
I recognised my fate the moment I saw your burning light.
I am a restless soul, always longing for the sun at night.
