✶ Half Divine. acb.
Daughter to a god,
A divine being so unreal,
A fraction of what mortals are,
I am his daughter. He muses and sings,
Plays such melody so enchanting.
He enchanted my dear mother,
A wide eyed naive woman who
only knew of love in books. He was her everything,
While she—only an experience.
He loved her, truly,
But his love was not enough to save her,
The same way their love doomed me.My mother possesses a feeble human life,
So fragile, ready to shatter at any moment,
from any single ill intent touch.
I was them, both mortal and immortal.I was not godly nor was I human,
I am torn between their ways of life,
I am red-blooded yet fragile,
I am something that has failed to ascend.Half divine—they utter,
A hero who will suffer a heroic end.
A prophecy yet to unfold.
Always the hero—never the god.
