star crossed.
from the moment we met,
all i felt was love-no, not love.
rather than love, it was familiarity
: oh, oh...it's going to be you.the overwhelming feeling of
inevitability,
the sense that we would be together;
that there would be a moment where
we will cross the line between friendship
to lovers.of course i believe in destiny,
if i did not, why would my gaze
linger to yours longer than
with others?both our names written amongst the stars.
yours shined, while mine only emitted a luster
you oh so sparked,
to a point where i might go blind from it's glare.our secret touches burned like no other,
yet it's a sensation that i am obsessed with,
it's a sensation that i am fated to love, to yearn for.
it's a sensation that i'm ready to be subjected to
for many lifetimes.we are star-crossed lovers:
doomed to fall in love,
to fall out of love, to die
or something of that sense.i wish to say i'm cautious of the
thought of what would become of us,
if we fulfill the inevitable, our impending doom,
as the stars say, but—oh i could not care less.let me perish, let me feel the agony,
let me subject myself into our tragedy,
let me play the juliet to your romeo,
and let's let ourselves perform this play
like there's no tomorrow.because in the end-we are bound by the stars,
we are meant to be, even if it costs us our ruin.– acb.
