Chapter 7

Hartley's POV

those words left me speechless. Niall loves me. I think I love him too. I was smiling uncontrollably. I was interrupted from my thoughts by a vibration in my pocket. Taking out my iPhone I checked to see my mother texting "hey honey, come home soon. Big surprise :) luv u -mom". I groaned. I was walking over to Niall. When I walked up to him I saw Louis with his arm around Keri. I squealed and smiled at Keri she squealed in reply to mine. I hugged her and Louis. Her hand intertwined with his. Niall intertwined with mine I looked up and pecked his cheek they were soft and squishy. "I have to leave Niall, I'm sorry but call me tonight please?" I said to Niall. Keri gave me a look that said" really? You're leaving him alone?" I mouthed "I'll tell you later" to her and left.

I walked into the house to find a guy with sandy blonde hair, sitting at the counter talking to my mum. I cleared my throat and they both turned around. I froze when I saw who it was... My older brother. I was so happy to see him. I ran over and hugged him tightly and whispered "I missed you" to him. He pulled away quicker than I wanted him to. I frowned at him. My brother ditched my mum and I when he turned 18 three years ago. We haven't seen him since, until today. He still had the chubby cheeks he always had, but he was taller and his eyes were more green than blue now. He smiled at me and I started to laugh. He still had his buck teeth! "So Bucky how have you been?" I asked he laughed at Bucky. Bucky is his nickname I gave. "Well shorty great how about you."  

"Oh you know being 5'3 still." 

"Great! So I hear you have a boyfriend, his name is Niall?" 

"Oh. My. Gosh. Really mum? Really?" I turned to my mum annoyed. My brother finally comes home and tells him about Niall. Great! Fantastic! Note the sarcasm. Ugh.  

"No Niall is not my boyfriend. He's just a friend. Who happens to in One Direction." 

"Oh famous 'friend' ok well when do I get to meet him?"  

"Oh we should have him over for dinner tomorrow!" My mum said. 

"That's a great idea mum. Call him shorty!" My brother said 

"Fine whatever just don't embarrass me." I said to him 

"Me? Embarrass you? Haha you're funny." 

I rolled my eyes and dialed Niall's number. 

"Hello?" I heard Niall say. 

"Hey Niall. Do you wanna come over for dinner?" 

"Sure why not? What time?"  

"6 or so." 

"Ok see ya then. Text me alright?" 

"Ok bye Niall." I hung up. 

I came back into the room where my mother and brother were talking. "Ok," I began "he's coming at 6." 

"Great." Bucky said. 

"So why are you home?" I asked the question that's been on my mind. 

"Well I have great news! I'm getting married!" He said. My mouth hung open. 

"Oh my gosh Garrison that's great! Who's the girl?" 

"A girl names Camy. She's amazing." 

"Congrats Bucky! When's the wedding?" I said 

"3 weeks for today."  

"Great. Well now I have to stop calling you Bucky and call you Garrison. Hey why not tomorrow Camy come over too?" 

"That's great I'll call her right now."

After 5 minutes Buck- Garrison came in with a smile on his face informing us that Camy, his bride-to-be, was coming. I did I small happy dance. Garrison never brought his girlfriends around, I guess he's really serious about this girl. Well of course he is they're getting married. I started walking to my room when garrison called" oh Hartley how would you feel about being the maid of honor?" "Me? The maid of honor? I'd love to be!" "Great catch is you have to wear a dress." My jaw dropped "what?" I asked annoyed. "Yep. Gotta wear a dress." Fine but just this once. Can I bring Niall?" "Go for it Hartley!" I left the room it was about 9:30 and I was tired. So I took my phone out. I texted Niall "hey Nialler :)"

From: Niall :)

"Hey hart what's up?"

To: Niall :)

"Nothing much. About dinner tomorrow. My brother's girlfriend is gonna b here:)."

From: Niall :)

"Ok. I didn't know you had a brother."

To: Niall :)

"Yeah. I haven't seen him for 3 years.

From: Niall :)

"Oh. Is it ok if I come @ 5:00 rather than @ 6:00?

To: Niall :)

"Sure. Gtg bye Nialler"

From: Niall :)
