Chapter 25

Niall's POV

She's gone. She left 3 months ago. She didn't tell me she was leaving. I feel empty. I feel that my heart was taken with her to America. We are on tour again. Actually we're in America. I see her on a lot. She's happy. At least one of us is. I've had the urge to her and beg her to come back. Tell her how Austin is gone for good. He got caught trying to kill Harry. 20 years on good behavior. Which I highly doubt. All the boys threw a party to celebrate. I didn't celebrate much. Her dad ditched town after she left. He's still crazy I bet. I was forced to date another girl named Jade. Sure she's pretty and nice. But she's know Hartley. I can't look at Jade without feeling a pain in my heart.

I was walking around L.A when I bumped into someone. A sweet voice I love so much started to speak. "I'm so sorry. I'm so clumsy. I should have seen where I was goi-" Hartley said not looking up at me as I cut her off. "Its alright love." I said making her stop picking up her sheet music. "What are you doing here Niall." she said still not looking up at me. "I'm here for the concert." I informed her. "are you kidding me?" she mumbled as she stood up stacking her papers. I looked her in the eye and raised my brow. She huffed and continued to explain. "I'm opening for that show. Management just decided not to tell me that it was a One Direction concert. Which means starting in 10 minutes we will be co-workers. Well better come with me seeing as I work there and you don't." She grabbed my hand sending sparks up my arm and down my spine.

"So how have you been?" I asked as she pulled me along with her through the doors. "I've been good. How's Jade?" She said with a hint of jealousy. "She's good. Pretty and nice." I paused considering what I would say next. "But she's not you." I said feeling Hartley tense for a minute then relax just as fast. She didn't say anything after that. She kept quiet until it was her turn to rehearse her song and the song she would sing with the boys and I. Management thought it would be a great idea.

After about 3 hours of rehearsals, we went to Lou to get ready. She styled everyone's hair just the same as always. I was in my underwear facing away from the door when I heard a gasp and turned to see a blushing Hartley. Louis and Keri were laughing uncontrollably while Hartley stammered an apology. Harry then wrapped his arm around her taking her to the chair where Lou was waiting for her to sit. Harry returned to his spot with Camy. Hartley's hair was curled into perfect blonde ringlets. Her eyes being coated with black eyeliner and mascara. I left the room with boys when Lou handed her a red dress.

Hartley's POV

 I haven't  stopped thinking about Niall since I left London. I was heart broken when I saw that Jade girl with him. It completely destroyed my heart. I was told the only place I could show my emotions of being depressed was behind closed doors. Running him was just another crack in my already broken heart. I was in the dressing room changing into a beautiful short red dress with one strap on the left shoulder. The heels were just red. My lips were matching it. I looked in the mirror telling myself that I was better than Jade. I failed to do even that.

I heard a knock and opened the door a crack to have Keri open the door wider to let herself and Rachel in. "It's a sham." Keri and Rachel said in perfect harmony. "What? What are you talking about?" I questioned confusingly. "Lou can you come here and explain to Hartley about Jade and Niall." Keri said forcing me out of the room and into Lou's sight. "Hartwey!" Lux said running towards me and hugging my leg. I picked her up and carried her to Lou and waited for Lou to explain. As I was about to get an answer from Lou, Lux spoke up. "Uncle Niawl misses you a lot. He gets reawy sad when he sees you in magazines." Lou nodded telling me this was true. "Hartley, out of all the girls Niall has dated you are my favorite. You make Niall happy. That witch Jade doesn't love him. She was planning on telling him she actually fell in love with him while management was forcing them to date. She's using him. She's a gold digger." I hugged her for telling me something that would change everything.

I ran out of the room but it was too late to talk to Niall. The concert was starting I was forced on stage a microphone was handed to me and I started to sing 'If I die young." (A/N video of the song on the side) as I finished the music to 'Through the dark' started to play. The boys started to sing. I was singing the chorus with the boys. Louis came to my side and walked me over to Niall who toke my hand. Sending the famous sparks up my arm. Niall started to make me dance with him. I laughed as the song ended. "So Hartley will you stay up on the stage with us and sing the chorus?" Liam asked. The crowd screamed at me to say yes. 'Liam you evil boy' I thought as I nodded then a wide smile spread across the boys faces.

After Best song ever, midnight memories, Story of my life, Diana, and don't forget where you belong, You and I came on. I started to think of how this song made me think of Niall and I. I sang the chorus with Harry. As the song ended I went to walk off the stage. When Niall caught my arm spun me around and kissed me in front of everyone. I kissed him back. It was a nice sweet kiss. He pulled away to look at someone behind me. I turned to see a furious Jade. "Jade. come here.' Niall said in his strangely captivating Irish accent. "I'd like you to meet the girl who I'm breaking up with you for. seeing as Lou told me how you called her a tramp." Jade's heels clicked and she walked off angrily. Keri, Kristina, Rachel, and Camy were all laughing as they walked on stage to their boyfriends. "So Hartley what do you say? Will you be my girlfriend?" Niall said in front of the crowd. I thought it through. It was a big fat "No." just kidding it was a yes. Niall face was like a kid's on Christmas. I love Niall Horan and I'm happy to say it without fear of someone hurting us.
