Chapter 14

Hartley's POV 

The bus is HUGE. I mean it has to be it's going to have 10 people living in it. Niall got the bottom bunk and I got the top. It was funny, all the girls had top bunks, the boys got bottom. "Princess, I'm going to be outside be back in a minute or two." Niall called to me. I nodded to him. I relaxed on the bed nervous tomorrow I start recording the songs for the studio. I closed my eyes for a second until I a heard little barks, and claws against the tile. I just thought I was imagining it, I closed my eyes again. Something warm and wet touched my cheeks. I squeezed my eyes shut until I opened them to see a puppy in Niall's lap as he sat on my bed, I squealed like a 5 year old in a candy store. Niall smiled at me. "She's 10 weeks old. She's an Australian shepherd." I nodded staring at the puppy as she wiggled in Niall's arm and came trotting towards my hand licking it.

"Management won't let me tack her on tour unless you were coming so when you said yes I picked her up. She's ours, princess" He explained. "What's her name?" I asked Niall. "She doesn't have one." I looked at Niall confused then I realized we were naming it...together. "How about," I paused, "Rue." I'm a huge Hunger Games fan! She gave me a look that reminded me of Rue. Sweet and innocent. Niall smiled nodding agreeing with me. "Rue." I called she turned and looked at me wagging her little nub of a tail. She licked Niall's cheeks. I toke a picture of them and posted it on twitter saying 'Cutest thing in the world! Our little puppy and Niall together.' I checked twitter to see I have 700 new followers! I had 39 followers before Niall and I made it official that we were dating now. Wow. Just wow.

I checked my twitter 20 minutes later to see 300 comments 400 favorites. Most comments were stuff like "cute puppy," "what's it's name." "You and Niall are so cute together" but others were very hurtful. "Why is Niall dating you? I'm prettier." "Eww you are so ugly." I single tear rolled down my cheek from the way how people can be hurtful. I saw I was mentioned in a tweet from Niall. I read the tweet. 'Please don't ever cry. You are perfect to me.' I smiled at him laughing. He gave me smile. I put my phone down turning on my side only to have a puppy climb and snuggle up to me. "Goodnight princess" Niall said kissing my forehead. "Sing please?" I mumbled to him.

He started to sing a sing I was familiar with. Cruise by Florida Georgia Line.
