Chapter Eighteen

*Hyolyn's POV*

Rubbing my eyes, I sat up, looking around slightly dazed. Chewy was awake, playing with a shoe on the floor. I hope they weren't expensive, because they're ruined.

Unwrapping myself from the burrito of blankets I had going on, I heard something crackle in my pocket. Looking down confused, I pulled out an envelope.

Turning it over in my hand, the words printed on the back confused me. I know this wasn't in my pocket when I went to sleep.

Then I remembered the note from the other day. No, this has to be something else right?

Rolling me eyes, I ripped the top open, pulling the paper out.

'Sleep well? That will be the last time.

You wished upon a star, but did you wish for the right thing?

I wouldn't touch the star if I were you, for stars are just rock and fire, and we wouldn't want to get burned now would we?'

The same red pen, the same handwriting. I don't understand what any of this means. I don't understand where this note came from. I would be freaking out right now, but I still feel like someone is hammering my head.

Of course I'm scared. Of course I'm freaking out. I'll just do it more when I have more energy.

Then the door cracked ope, making me jump, properly freaking me out this time. But it was only the guys. Shoving the note into my pocket quick, Dino was the first in. Naturally, Chewy abandoned me.

"Tch," I muttered, flopping backwards into the covers again.

"Hyolyn!" Someone screamed, as I groaned, pulling the pillows over my head. Feeling someone shake me, I threw one at their head. "Yah!" He whined. Pulling them down, I saw Seungkwan pouting on the floor.

"You had it coming," Jun mumbled, eating something coming out of the kitchen.

"Noona," he fake cried, continuing to pout. Throwing another pillow at his face, I stood up quickly, running into the kitchen. Which was sort of the stupidest move ever, because my centre of gravity was well off, and I ended up swaying to the left, walking right into the fridge.

"Woah," swaying a little, I held onto the cabinet, trying to regain my balance.

"You should lie back down," Wonwoo appeared beside me. Wrapping his arms around me, my eyes widened when his hands went near the pocket. I don't want him finding out about this. Not yet at least. I don't want a long discussion about it. I'm not in the mood.

"You'll get sick too," I pulled away, tying the strings of the hoodie tighter.

"But then we can be sick together," he whispered and winked. Rolling my eyes, I muttered a response that that was a stupid idea and he needs to practice, and can't afford to get sick because of me.

"Did that drink work?" Jeonghan walked into the kitchen, seeing our small argument and Wonwoo pouting, acting like a kid.

"Yah! XU MINGHAO!" I yelled, as well as I could. Walking past Jeonghan and Wonwoo, who moved quickly to the side. Good move, boys. Good move.

Stumbling into the living room, everyone but Jun fell silent. Noticing everyone else was gulping in fear, he did too.

"Heh, hey noona," Minghao moved around on the floor where he was sat.

"Don't hey noona me, you told me it was an ancient recipe!" I raised a brow.

"It is!" He tried to defend himself. "It's all of 6 hours ancient!" Not being able to resist his puppy eyes, I broke. Mumbling a few choice words, I shot him one final look, muttering how it could have killed me, stupid wikipedia.
