Chapter Sixteen
*Wonwoo's POV*
What right does he think he has? Oh I want to meet you Wonwoo, oh I'm sorry for leaving Wonwoo. Do me a favour, go take a long walk off a short pier.
"Everything alright?" Her soft voice rang out next to me. Sighing, I turned to her.
"Everything is fine," I smiled to her. It was, because I'm not meeting him. I'm having nothing to do with him. If he wants me, he will have to take me kicking and screaming. Looking at her side profile under the moonlight, my heart danced around my chest, my lungs doing backflips, my stomach playing twister with my other organs. I don't even know what this feeling is, but every time I see her, every time I'm around her, it's there.
Come on Wonwoo. Stop being a pouseé again.
Gently, and slyly, I grabbed her hand that was laid next to mine. Seeing her look toward me, I took a slower approach this time. I know this sounds totally cliché, but time really did slow down again. Moving closer to her, I brought my other hand to her neck. Feeling her breath graze my lips, I could tell she was nervous. I know I'm hot and everything, but she doesn't need to be this nervous. I mean we've already kissed twice tonight.
Bringing my teeth along her bottom lip, I brought my lips to hers, pulling her into me again.
I need to ask her something. But I don't know how she's going to respond. What if she rejects me? I know that's highly unlikely, but this a highly unlikely chick.
This time it was slow, it was tender. It was long awaited.
Nothing that was said in the past 10 minutes by the devil swam around my head, because she is here. And she makes me forget where I am, she makes me focus on her.
My other hand trailing down her side, it stopped at her waist, drawing small circles on her hip.
Breaking off, she bit her lip, as I rested my forehead against hers.
"How did you do it?" I whispered.
"Do what?" A small smile tugged at the corners of her lips, driving me insane.
"Make me fall for you?" Looking up, we met gazes. Seeing the faint pink tint on her cheeks, she looked away embarrassed, but still happy it seemed. "You must have super powers," I joked again. "Or are you a witch?" I teased. "I bet you've put a spell on me, haven't you?"
"Totally," she swallowed a small laugh, meeting me eyes again.
"Hyolyn?" Now it was my turn to be embarrassed. Now it was my turn to gulp in fear.
"Yeah?" Her soft voice rang through my mind, finding it's way into every corner and crook.
"I know it's not allowed, but," I bit my lip. I can't do this. I want to, I just can't. What if I screw up? Seeing her look away, she dropped our hands. I'm blowing it. Come on Wonwoo, win this back. You can do this. "Hyo?" I whispered, gently turning her head toward me.
"Yeah?" She repeated. This one a little more defeated than the last.
"I need to ask you something..." I bit my lip. God. Why are the words getting stuck in my throat. "I'm on fire right now because of you... It's impossible to cool me down, I don't know what will happen, I don't know if it's going to work, but I would fight everything to make it work. What I mean is, I want to know all of you. Even if my lips are dry, I need to say this..." I sang gently. "I adore you," I finished off, kissing her again. Only a little peck. "So... with you... you know..." I looked up, seeing her looking at me wide eyed, her small hands placed on my knees. "Be mine?"
