Chapter Twenty Seven
*Wonwoo's POV*
Turning my head away, I wanted to throw up.
It's been four days since she went missing. Four days of pure agony.
Four days of her not being with me.
Tossing the box on the table, I leant my head on Mingyu's shoulder and began to cry.
Jeonghan pushed Dino out of the room, followed by Seungcheol closing the door. Everyone sat in silence.
There's nothing to go off. There's nothing to find her with.
Reopening the box, I grimaced, throwing it back onto the table, I punched the wall.
"Hyung," Seungkwan patted my shoulder gently. "Hyung it might not be real," he tried to calm me down.
"Not real? Not fucking real? Do you not see that blood? Do you not smell what I smell?" I yelled back. In the prettily packaged box, lay an endless amount of blood. Along with a tongue. The end had been severed pretty damn roughly and carelessly.
Unfolding the note, Hansol looked over, and then back to the letter. Gulping, he began reading it aloud.
'Tick tock. Time's wasting.
Like my present? This is the first of many.
She might want to rethink her career choice now. Pretty hard to sing without a tongue, isn't it?
Let me give you a clue, follow the road no one goes down, right to the very end. You might find what you're searching for.
You have 2 days left.'
Fuck this.
I'm going to find her. I'm going to find her right now.
Throwing my jacket on, I ran from the dorm, ignoring the yells coming from the others. Let's go back to the beginning. The day she was taken.
I need to find her. The past four days that have gone by... they have been the worst of my life. Without her beside me, without her gentle laugh, I'm unable to think straight.
I haven't been to practice, I've been sat alone, trying to work this shit out. Trying to work out why this keeps happening.
The past four days without her, they have been hell. I didn't realise how much she meant to me. Because I've fallen for her. There's not denying it.
I... I love her.
*Hyolyn's POV*
6 hours previous in the sick psycho's lair...
"Hold still!" It yelled, pulling my tongue. "Don't move," it stuck it's tongue out too. Bringing a knife from it's pocket, I held back a tear.
Bringing the knife close to my tongue, it swiped quickly. Holding back a scream, all I could feel was pain, as the latex removed it's self with my tongue.
"Now it's the fun part," it laughed, releasing my mouth from it's grasp. "See, I told you I wouldn't hurt you if you just went along with what I said. You're so good," it slapped my cheek gently a few times before going over to the table.
Whipping back around, it's gaze met mine.
"I need some blood. This fake stuff won't cut it. You mind?" It smiled, pulling the knife back out. The knife covered in my blood.
Bring the knife back to my arm, the events that has happened the past few days swam around my head.
The pain.
