Chapter Twenty Two
*Hyolyn's POV*
After a day, they released me from the hospital. However right now, I was sat in my dorm, alone. Well. Chewy was somewhere, but right now I was alone. I have 12 hours until my audition. It's 1am. And I cannot do it.
I just don't have what it takes. I want it so much. But, what if I mess up? I should have prepared more. I don't even know what I'm going to sing.
God dammit Hyolyn. What are you going to do now. You missed your final exams due to that bastard. Now you have no plan. What if it doesn't go right?
I hadn't seen my boys in a week, due to their hectic schedules. I hadn't seen Wonwoo in a week... I might live above them, but they are always in their practice room.
I just don't want to lose them.
Turning my attention to the note in my hand, I shook my head.
"Break a leg tomorrow. Or your back."
I found it shoved under my door. Deciding to not think about it, I screwed it up, tossing it in the trash.
They can try as much as they want to fuck my life up. They won't. Because I'm in charge now.

Sat in the hallway, I shook my leg. My throat was really dry. It felt as if were on fire. Unzipping my backpack, I pulled a bottle of water from it, only to be stolen from my hands, replaced with a different bottle. Looking up, Wonwoo stood there, smiling.
"Hey jagi," he sat on the floor next to me, tossing my water aside. "How have you been?" He asked, his voice clearly showing how tired he was.
"I've been better," I mumbled. Unscrewing the cap, I remembered what he had promised me. I had barely eaten anything during this week, the only things I ate was instant noodles, which I had bought myself. And I always picked a random one. They don't know which one I'm going to pick, and they can't poison every single one can they?
"You'll do great," he smiled again, leaning on my shoulder.
"How's rehearsals?" I asked, feeling him relax.
"Sleep, all I need is sleep," he replied. I wasn't asking that, but I guess I got an answer. Overworked.
"Kim Hyolyn?" A lady came out of the room with a clipboard. Gulping, Wonwoo got up, pulling me up with him. "We are ready for you now," she smiled, walking back into the room.
"You'll do great," Wonwoo mumbled, giving my hand a reassuring squeeze. Taking a deep breath, I passed him, composing myself.
Here goes nothing.
*Mr Kim's POV (the dad, if you can't remember that far back)*
There's something niggling in the back of my mind. Where was my wife? Why was she always out? And when she comes home, she always smells of smoke. Strong smoke.
And I know she doesn't smoke.
Hyolyn. Where was she? I hadn't seen her in a month. Or maybe more.
"Appa, do you want a coffee?" Soyou asked. "You haven't had one in a week, are you alright?"
"Coffee is giving me headache lately, but thank you," I smiled as she left the room, leaving me alone.
Where was Hyolyn? Try to remember, Jiwon. Think.
Leaning back in my chair, I closed my eyes. Letting the silence wash over me, small memories came back to me. Hyolyn, in the hospital. Why?
