I'm so happy the interview went well,finally I can stop depending on Honey,I can finally take care of the kids.
"Hey Honey"I said into the phone,"Are you free?"
"Yeah I am,why"she asked
"Let's have lunch at Starbucks I'll wait for u there"
"Okay,I'm on my way"
"Bye, see you soon."
I got to the restaurant and ordered a drink. As I was sipping the drink and looking through the window I spotted my best friend as she came in and walked towards me.
"So I see you're eating without me"she said as she sat down
"How can I,I ordered your favourite if you don't mind"I said to her
"I don't mind,so why the sudden invitation"
"What,so I can't invite my best friend out for lunch"
"Yeah you can't,so what's up"
"Nothing much,we my friend are celebrating"
"Wow what are we celebrating"
"Honey,I got the job"
"That is so nice,we would have had dinner instead of lunch"
"Naa,you're going to be busy with Matt and the kids anyway"
"Yeah"she said and looked at her wrist watch"Rev am so sorry,my lunch time is over and I have to get back to work"
"OK,thanks for coming"
"Anytime,I'll see you later then"she said as she was hugging me
"Yeah"

It was already 2 so I had to go and pick the kids up from school. I drove to their school in utter silence. On getting there,I saw the kids waiting for me.
"Kids,come on its time to go"
"Hey Mom"Ivan said
"Hi,so how was your day"
"Mom,it was wonderful,we made some new friends,played games,.........." The two of them started talking at once I wasn't even listening any longer.
"Okay,that's nice"I said when they had finished talking."Why don't we go and get ice-cream"
"Yayy"they both chorused
We went for ice-cream and went back home. At home,I couldn't stop thinking about today and wondering how work was going to be. I hoped it wouldn't be another wrong part of my life.
