Shadowwhisper opened her eyes slowly, as they adjusted to the light. She prodded Featherfrost with her paw, urging her to wake up.
''Our journey begins.....'' Shadowwhisper, whispered into Featherfrost's ear.
Featherfrost stood up slowly and made her way around the sleeping body's of cats.
Shadowwhisper followed Featherfrost through the mass of dreaming cats.
''We need to go to Windwhisker's den to collect our travelling herbs.''
Shadowwhisper nodded and walked to Windwhisker's den. Leaves crackled under her paws as she entered the medicine cat den.
''Have you come, for your travelling herbs?''
''Yes, Windwhisker.''
Windwhisker's head came out of the shadows, ''Here.'' A grey fur pushed out two bundles of herbs.
''Thankyou Windwhisker.'' Featherfern said as she took the herb bundle.
''I had a dream from StarClan.''
Shadowwhisper looked up from her herbs, ''You did?''
''Yes,'' Windwhisker sighed, ''You have a large journey ahead of you, you must travel to the twoleg place and beyond.''
''That far!'' Featherfrost gasped.
''Yes.'' Windwhisker looked at Featherfrost, ''StarClan has a big destiny planned for you.''
Windwhisker looked at the sky. ''It is time for you to leave.''
Shadowwhisper looked at her sister. Their eyes locked. Green and blue eyes. Featherfrost looked away.
Shadowwhisper bounded to the Thorn Barrier anxious to leave, without rousing any cats.
Featherfrost brushed her fur against Shadowwhisper, ''I'm ready.''
The padded through the Thorn Barrier and into the forest.
''I need to say goodbye to Acornleaf!'' Featherfrost said urgently.
''You can't you''ll get caught!'' Shadowwhisper hissed.
Featherfrost turned to Shadowwhisper eyes full with sorrow, ''I can't just leave without telling him!''
''Yes, you can!'' Shadowwhisper blocked her sister's way.
Featherfrost glared at her, ''You don't understand! You've never loved any body!''
''I don't have too!'' Shadowwhisper replied.
Featherfrost ran away towards WindClan.
''Come back!'' Shadowwhisper yowled.
Featherfrost was determined.
Shadowwhisper ran after her sister, she stopped when she hit the border, her sister's scent was strong. But there was something else, something strong.....
