Shadowwhisper watched as the skinny black she-cat rushed away, ''Run you fox-heart!'' She yelled after the fleeing she-cat and turned back to the battle clearing.
Silvermist rose slowly and hesitantly, ''Thank you Shadowwhisper.'' She murmure softly, ''I thought I was joining StarClan for sure.''
''Stay here Silvermist.'' Shadowwhisper muttered.
Before Silvermist could reply, Shadowwhisper had rushed away.
Shadowwhisper halted when she saw the limp body of Miststar in the center of the clearing.
Shadowwhisper let out a choke of grief and leaned over Miststar.
Miststar was stone cold, and there was no hint of life.
Shadowwhisper's green eyes lost it's determination, ''Miststar, you were the most noble leader any clan could have,'' She paused, ''May you hunt well in StarClan.''
Shadowwhisper heard a cat's paw steps and she looked up and saw Silvermist frozen in horror.
Shadowwhisper's head drooped, ''It's all my fault....you asked me to look after her and I....''
Silvermist laid her tail on Shadowwhisper's back, ''No Shadowwhisper, it is Miststar's fate, her destiny.''
Shadowwhisper wanted to reply, but no words came to her mind.
Silvermist padded away, tail dragging in the dirt.
Shadowwhisper padded to the high stones and padded right to the top, ''Stop!'' Her voice echoed around the clearing and all the cats stopped, ''Who killed Miststar?' She asked, voice frighteningly calm.
Smokestar shifted and straightened.
Shadowwhisper lept of high stones and landed on top of Smokestar, bowling him into the dust.
Smokestar attempted to push Shadowwhisper off, but Shadowwhisper wouldn't give up, ''Smokestar, you are leader of ShadowClan,'' Smokestar's calmed down a little, ''But not for much longer.''
Shadowwhisper sunk her claws into Smokestar's throat with all the power in her body.
Smokestar body began to shudder and he began to thrash, then fell still.
His body came back to shuddering life and then fell still agian.
7 more times this happened.
Smokehaze let out a gasp, ''He is losing all nine lives at once!'' He murmured, shocked.
Smokestar's amber eyes flashed open and his body froze and fell limp.
Silence spread across the clearing, the only sound was the ragged breathing of Shadowwhisper.
Lightningleaf finally broke the silence, ''You killed him!''
Shadowwhisper was brought back to reality, ''I-I.....''
All the ShadowClan cats were scared and frightened and there fur bristled.
WindClan shuffled about nervously.
RiverClan cats stared at Snowstar, their leader.
Snowstar's blue eyes were filled with panic.
She saw Moonstar awake from her unconsiousness and rise, ''Shadowwhisper, step away.''
Shadowwhispr stepped away, Moonstar padded onto High stones and stood majestically, any trace of fear had vanished, ''WindClan, RiverClan, ShadowClan,'' She nodded her head at each of the clans, ''Stop the battle. Your leaders are dead, you have nothing worth fighting for.''
