Miststar's gaze was filled with sorrow as the limp body of Redmoon lay still in the moonlight.
Miststar backed away, tail leaving a trail of dust in the ground, ''How did this happen?'' She asked.
A small white she-cat came forward, body trembling with fear, ''Mis-misstar....he just crumpled to the floor, blood flowing from his neck.''
Miststar stepped forward curiously, ''But no cat can just die and start bleeding...someone must have killed him.''
The white she-cat blinked fearfully, ''No one layed a paw on him.''
Miststar nodded slowly, ''But Sunfrost,'' She said to the small white she-cat, ''No cat can just die like that.''
Sunfrost fell to a hushed whimper, ''No one did it.''
Miststar padded forward, eyes glittering impatiently, ''Well then who did?''
Sunfrost sighed sadly, ''I don't know.''
Miststar opened her mouth to say something when a screech split the air.
Miststar lunged forward, pushing aside several of her clanmates to see what had happened.
She saw the limp body of Endlesslight, a light yellow tom.
''What happened?'' Miststar asked the trembling bodies of her clanmates.
A large black tom came forward, ''Miststar, he just collapsed, the same as Redmoon....''
Miststar reached forward and put her face next to his, ''Shadownight, cat's can't just die.''
Shadownight shivered, ''Miststar, I really don't know.''
Miststar nodded slowly, ''But how then, how ca-''
She stopped as she felt a pelt brush aginst hers. She looked to her right and there was no cat, she looked to her left and there was no cat either.
She stopped herself from releasing a gasp of pain as claws dug into her stomach.
A familiar scent chilled Miststar's heart, and the rasping voice whispered in her ear, ''Remember me? I told you Miststar, I always keep my promises.''
Miststar felt the fur on her neck fluff up and she lunged at the invisible pelt of Fangstar, she felt nothing, until a sudden pain flashed across her side, sending blood pouring across her flank.
She heard cats around her meow and whisper at what was happening, but none came forward to help.
Miststar felt a paw pinned on her throat, ''Fangstar,'' She whispered under her breath, ''I WILL kill you!''
She lunged forward, pushing the invisible body of Fangstar out the way, and she pinned him down, eyes glittering with revenge, ''Bye Fangstar.''
She sunk her claws into his throat and the dead Fangstar, became no more.

Shadowwhisper stared at Miststar as she battled with another cat, that no one could see.
Miststar halted, paw pinned on air, gaze filled with anger.
Shadowwhisper strode forward, and looked at Miststar, ''Miststar, what just happened?''
Miststar looked up and the anger melted away, only to be filled with confusion, ''What do you mean? Didn't you see him?''
Shadowwhisper shook her head, ''No.''
Miststar nodded slowly, ''Shadowwhisper, before I start, theres something I want to do...''
Shadownight came forward, ''Shadowwhisper? You mean Freezefire? Right?''
Miststar hesitated for a moment, unsure of what to say when Shadowwhisper came forward, ''Shadownight,'' Shadowwhisper said, dipping her head, ''I am Shadowwhisper, warrior of ThunderClan. StarClan sent me a message to save WhisperClan and I was killed, by my own sister,'' Bitterness fell into Shadowwhisper's voice, ''StarClan felt mercy on me, and I Shadowwhisper has taken the place of Freezefire. Do you understand?''
Shadownight stared at her, mystified, then he nodded, ''I understand,'' He paused, ''Shadowwhisper, thankyou for saving us and ridding us from NightClan.'' He dipped his head and backed away.
Miststar watched then padded forward, ''Thankyou Shadownight, I now have something to say too.''
All the cats of WhisperClan hushed and a silent hung in the air.
Miststar stepped forward and her gaze met Shadowwhisper's, ''Shadowwhisper, I, Miststar of WhisperClan, thankyou for saving us from NightClan.''
Shadowwhisper's tail twitched in embarrasement.
Miststar continued, ''I would like to give you the rank of deputy, so that you may serve WhisperClan forever.''
Shadowwhisper stepped back, surprised, ''Me?''
Miststar smiled gently, ''Yes, you.''
Shadowwhisper's gaze lost it's surprise, and a cloud of duty went over her gaze, ''Miststar, I would gladly take on the duty of deputy.''
Miststar nodded, ''Very well,'' She turned to all of WhisperClan and gave a slight approving nod.
The clearing erupted in cheers, ''Shadowwhisper! Shadowwhisper!''
Shadowwhisper stepped forward, ''Miststar I have one favour to ask you.''
Miststar nodded, ''Yes?''
Shadowwhisper stared hesitantly among her new clan mates, ''ThunderClan is being attacked by Shadow, River and WindClans....would you, WhisperClan, help ThunderClan?''
