1.9, The Combat Update (Part 1)

Hellooooo fellow Masters of Minecraft! It iz I, Bluewisker for a lomg awaited chapter! This chapter may have some false information due to the fact that 1.9 isn't even out yet... but Part 2 will clear everything up! (When it's released) Well I'm just gonna get into the chapter now...

The Combat Update introduces so many cool features. One of which, is duel wielding! On screen you can see both a left and right arm. You can even change your primary arm. (It's your right arm by default) In your inventory there's a "shield" slot. Put any item there and you'll hold it in your secondary arm. Unfortunately you can't duel wield swords but... meh.

Speaking of swords! You can no lomger block... although you can scare some noobs away by making it look like it's duel-wielding!

Next up is a large selection of new arrows. They are all just basic arrows that are colored differently and have potion effects so they aren't just basic arrows.

The potion effects bar is now located outside at the top of your screen. (Top right I believe) so you don't need to open your inventory up when seeing what effects you have on.

The entire inventory has been redone! And they were going to reintroduce the quiver but they cancelled it so they removed the quiver slot in the newest snapshot.

The End boss fight has been redone as well. We don't know much about it. Yet.

In Creative you can finally use ender-pearls! Goody good good.

We have been given a giant dragon-head we can wear in creative. I think you get it by defeating the Ender-Dragon but I'm not sure.

And finally, to end it off, we haz a new mob! Some sort of box that opens up and shoots you.... well bai. Oh wait I almost forgot! (I didn't almost forget xD)
