Hey guys,awesomesauce here! Now that you know the basics of minecraft, let's get on to some other stuff. One of the hardest things to do in minecraft is to get your house to look good. So today I will be showing you how. In the first part, I'll go over exterior,and in the next interior, ok!
Anyways the first rule of house design, don't make it a boring old rectangle! If you want it to look good, go for something more creative. Maybe you could add a pyramid shaped roof to go on top. Or you could make it a tower!
Also, make it more than just one big shape. Maybe have a hallway leading to another area, or if you house is high enough,add a bridge! If you make a brindle,be sure to add some interesting designs on it, don't make it just one long path.
Another rule is, don't make it one block! Mix it up a bit! Have your base one type of wood, the walls a different one,and the roof cobblestone!
One thing I think looks cool is if you make the outline of your house with logs, then fill in the other bits with planks.
Also,figure out what style your house is going to be before making it. Is it going to be modern, mideval, pirates? But once you've decided that, choose the appropriate blocks. A modern house would not look good with cobble stone walls, that would look better in medievil style house.
Also, put decorations on the outside. Maybe make a path leading up to the house. Or,if you get shears get some leaves and make hedges! Or maybe even make a garden.
Really, what your hose looks like depends on what style it is. There are many different styles out there. Or maybe even make something that is your own style.
One last thing for extirior, DONT MAKE YOUR HOUSE OUT OF DIRT! That makes you look like a hobo. I guess if you wanted to be a hobo, then do that,but........
