Warning! This is part 2! That means you. should read part 1 for information on mobs.
Hey guys Bluewisker here for part two of the Nether Dimension segment. Part three will be released later on with awesome facts about nether fortresses. Also, fun dact about the creeper. The Creeper was originally glitches from the pig. It wasn't supposed to be a mob until Notch saw it. Then he decided to add it as an official mob that explodes! Now on with the book!
Nether Quartz is currently the one and only ore in the Nether. It has little use, but it's main use is Pretty good for builders. If you're not a builder, probably don't want to read about Nethet Quartz. When you mine The Quartz it'll drop two to four experience orbs. And if you're lucky, six! It also drops Nether Quartz. It's used to create Quartz slabs, chiseled Quartz, Pillar Quartz, and Quartz blocks. That's all it has now. Nether Quartz blocks ( all for types ) are mainly white.
Netherrack is the most common block in the Nether. It looks like red rock with burn marks in it. With an efficiency two diamond pickaxe you can instant break it. Netherrack also has small blast resistance so you can break it as fast as wood with your fist. Netherrack is literally found EVERYWHERE in the nether.
Lava is very common in the Nether. He Nether is a fire based dimension so it has random fire everywhere along with lava and heat immune mobs. Water cannot be placed in the nether because It evaporate right away.
NetherBrick is the rarest block in the Nether. It only spawns naturally in Nether Fortresses. It can be made into the following: Stairs, Fence, Block, ingot, and.slab. You cannot create tools or weapons
Soulsand is probably the most annoying block in Minecraft. When you walk on it, it slows you down. And you can't spawn the wither boss without it! Soulsand is useful though to slow down your enemies while you have a speed potion on!
And last of all, Bedrock. The Nether is infinite, so at the very top of the Nether is a layer of Bedrock that stretches across the top Infinitely. Bedrock actually isn't unbreakable. You just need one million TnT to destroy one block.
And that's all, tell me if I missed anything in the comments. Sorry it was short, but there isn't many blocks in the nether. As always....
