Chapter 3
Kevin's P.O.V
I walked into the science lab and then sat down in my usual seat next to Devin.
"I'm surprised you're not late," Dev chuckled. I shrugged.
"Decided to be early this time," I said and leaned back in the chair and put my feet on the table.
"Alright class, today we will be learning about... Mr. Alston could you please put your feet down?" Mrs. Rolland asked.
"I could do but I don't want to." I said plainly. I saw out of the corner of my eyes someone rolling their eyes. I looked in that direction and saw a girl giving me a look of disgust. I haven't seen her before...
"Do you want to go to the principal's office?" she asked and slapped our desk.
"Sure," I answered.
"Ms. Cabello could you please escort him to the principal's office? I don't trust him alone," she said and eyed him.
"Um sure," she said quietly. She slowly stood up and walked over to me. I stood up and she led me out of the door. I could feel Daniels eyes on my back.
The door closed and she crossed her arms over her chest and looked down.
"So are you new here?" I asked. She gave me a weird look.
"Duh," she mumbled. She looked like she was about to say something else but then she closed her mouth.
"We're you about to say something?" I asked and raised an eyebrow at her.
"U-um it's just t-that you look familiar," she stuttered.
"I post videos on YouTube with my two friends sometimes," I answered. She nodded and then looked down again.
"Are you just naturally this shy or is it just me?" I asked.
"It's you," she said and glared at me.
"Are you like in love with me or something?" I asked and sent her a nervous glance. She stopped in her tracks.
"What made you think that? I just got here like 30 minutes ago!" she protested. I smirked at her.
"That'll change," I whispered.
"What?" she asked.
"Nothing."
Camila's P.O.V
"Camila! Over here!" Dev shouted and patted the seat next to him. I ran over to their table and sat down next to Dev. I set my tray down in front of me.
"Ok guys this is my new neighbor Camila," Dev said and they all waved to me. I gave them a small wave.
"I'm Genny," a really pretty girl with dark/light brown hair said.
"I'm Maddy," a girl with brown hair said. I couldn't help but notice Devin staring at her with a smile.
"I'm Kevin as you already knew," Kevin said. Dev was friends with Kevin? That explains why they were lab partners.
"I'm Daniel as you already knew," Daniel laughed and smiled at me.
"I'm Mariam," a blackish brown haired girl said.
"Hi," I said.
"So where are you from?" Genny asked.
"Um my dad and I traveled a lot," I explained. She nodded.
"Um do you have any siblings?" Dev asked. I shook my head.
I ate a few of my chips. I wasn't really that hungry.
"Oh and I almost forgot! Ok so one of my best friends is having a sleepover party next week and I was wondering if you would like to come! She said we could bring guests, and I think they would all love you!" Genny exclaimed. I smiled.
"Really?" I asked.
"Totally!" she beamed.
"Well I've got to go," Kevin said and stood up.
"Go where? You never show up to class early," Daniel said.
"Who said I was going to class? Later guys," he said and walked away. Daniel rolled his eyes.
"Just ignore Kevin, he's a jerk, but he's my friend so I have to deal with him," Daniel told me.
"He is a jerk," I confirmed and finished off the last of my chips.
"He's dated like every girl in the school besides you of course, Genny, and a few other people," Mariam exclaimed and shook his head in disgust.
"You're just jealous because you don't have a boyfriend," Genny said and smirked at her.
"You don't have one either!" Mariam protested while laughing.
"Ok true," Genny said.
The bell rang indicating that we had to get back to class.
I can't believe it's already been a day and I already have like 5 friends. And 3 of them are boys.
