24- Packing

Chapter 24

"Okay so as you all know today, after school, we are going to go on our first trip with the love project! It's going to be so fun! We'll have activities everywhere, and we'll have a bunch of cabins for everybody to stay in and we'll have a campfire and it will be perfect!"

I puffed my cheeks and repeated again and again hoping to save myself from boredom. Yes, we know, it's going to be fantastic!

Note the goddamn sarcasm.

At least Kevin will be with me.

I snuck a glance over at Kevin who was getting ready to throw himself on the floor. [ a/n: you know that video of Kevin in school when he threw himself on the floor from his seat during class💀]

"Oh my god Mr. Alston are you okay??!" the teacher asked.

"Oh yeah I'm fine," he said getting up "I'm just trippin over you ma," everyone started laughing. The teacher rolled her eyes and then laughed.

I snuck another glance over at Kevin who was now using his eraser to draw on his desk as he made these weird ass faces. I bit my lip to keep from smiling. He looked over at me and I quickly looked away. I didn't want him to know I was staring.

Damn I'm such a girl now. I guess I've caught on to Genny.

"Psst," she whispered beside me. I turned to face Genny. She held a note in her hand and then she tossed it on my desk. I stared at it for a second before I carefully put it in my lap and unfolded it.

Stop staring at Kevin. You're making it obvious ;)

I rolled my eyes and got out my pen.

Don't judge me, I see u checkin out d.veda all da time.

I quickly passed it to her and watched as she opened it up and read it. Her face turned from perky to sad and she crumpled up the paper and stuffed it in her pocket.

Maybe bringing up Daniel wasn't such a smart idea.

"Miss Cabello, and Genny, did I see you too two just passing notes a second ago?" the teacher stopped her lecture and looked straight at us. Genny's face flushed and I fiddled with my hands.

Hopefully Genny crumpled the paper up good because I will die if she reds it in front of the class.

"Sorry, it won't happen again," Genny stepped up and I mentally thanked her in my mind. I was too nervous to say anything.

"I better not see it again ladies or I will read it in front of the class. I bet it's about those boys eh? Kevin and Daniel, I see you two ladies staring at them," she smirked at us and then turned back to her desk. Everybody started laughing at us, buh I was mortified.

I hid my face with my sleeve and snuck a look at Genny who was just rolling her eyes, acting cool. I decided that would be best so they wouldn't suspect anything. I removed my hands from my face and looked at Kevin who raised his eyebrows at me. I shrugged in response and he smiled and looked away.

"But you should've seen ya faces. Camila you looked like and tomato and Genny you looked as pale as a vampire," Dev laughed and I frowned and stared at my food.
