"So Kalie? How's Daniel?" Chelby asked as she folded up her blankets. Kalie sat on the top bunk staring at the ceiling amusingly and shrugged.
"He's cute and really nice," was all she said in a small, quiet voice. I could tell she liked Daniel buh she wouldn't admit it. I mentally groaned. Why does everyone have to like someone? I wish liking someone was simple and we could choose who we liked. I don't wanna like Kevin , buh I do , and it kinda sucks😩. When I see him , I want to tackle him and kiss him so hard my lips will be sore afterwards. Yikezzz🙄.
I'm afraid that one day I won't be able to resist and I'll just kiss him out of nowhere and he'll hate me and never talk to me again. I mean he has said that he would never like me like that.
I shut my eyes tight and held back a sob. I want him. I want him so much😩.
My thoughts were interrupted by someone shaking me. I opened my eyes and saw Genny bending down.
"What?" I croaked softly and sat up straight.
"Do you wanna go for a walk around the camp? I can't stand being around these two dip shits anymore," she said in disgust and I couldn't tell her no. I couldn't stand em either.
She stepped back and I climbed out of the bunk and slipped on my toms.
"Where are you going?" Kalie asked and Genny sprinted out of the cabin. I sighed.
"None of your business," I told her and ran after Genny. She was standing in front of the cabin with her arms crossed in front of her chest. She was frowning and my heart melted for her. She looked so sad. I walked up to her slowly.
"What's wrong babes? You can always talk to me," I said faintly and she looked up at me.
"I'll tell you while we walking, lessgo," she whispered and grabbed my wrist, pulling me towards the dirt road.
"So?" I asked as we stated walking down the road. She looked around to make sure no one was listening although it was obvious no one was here. No one else would be up and walking this early. She finally turned back to me and took a deep breath before starting to talk.
"You know I like Daniel rihh?" she asked in a hushed voice and I gave her a are-you-serious-boii look and nodded.
"We'll look we talked earlier, you know after we got off the bus and he asked me if I could ask a certain someone who they liked," she said bitterly and I stopped in my spot.
She was talking about me😳.
"Genny-," I started, trying to find some way to explain to her that I didn't want anything to do with Daniel buh she interrupted me.
"I'm not mad, by the way. That isn't the reason. So after I told him no, he got all tight and started assuming things about me, and one was me liking him and then my face fell because I thought that he knew buh he didn't seem to notice, buh Chelby was right behind him and she heard and saw my face and know I'm pretty sure...," she trailed off, buh I put my arm around Genny and hugged her. She hugged me tight and I heard her sniff.
"What if she tells him?" she mumbled and I shook my head and pulled away.
"She won't. I promis," I reassured he and she smiled lightly at me.
