Lapis X Jasper

Jasper watched as Lapis continued lifting and moving the heavy boxes into their respective rooms. They had bought their first apartment together and began the process of physically moving that morning. Jasper had opted to take a break from the work and was now leaning against the doorway to the kitchen.
"Babe, why don't you take a break? You've been working since the sun rose," Jasper asked in her gruff voice.
"Because we have to get this done," Lapis responded, panting slightly from the work she had been doing.
"Says who?" Jasper straightened up against the wall.
"Says me, idiot," Lapis said smiling over her shoulder at her girlfriend. Lapis made her way into their shared bedroom which had nothing in it aside from the bed. Jasper followed suit and grabbed a random box marked 'BEDROOM' from the large stack in the front room. Jasper carried the box with ease and set it next to where Lapis had set hers. Lapis was pulling something from the first box when Jasper pulled her away from it.
"Jasper," Lapis said, trying to be firm.
"Lapis," Jasper said in return.
"What do you want?" Lapis asked.
"Dance with me," Jasper said as she spun the smaller girl around to face her.
"What?" Lapis said, confused.
"Dance with me. You need a break so dance with me."
"Jasper we don't have time."
"We don't have a time constraint. We don't have to unpack the day we move in y'know," Jasper said.
"But I want to. And besides we don't have any music anyway," Lapis told her. Jasper smirked and began humming something. Lapis rolled her eyes and wrapped her arms around Jasper's shoulders signaling she'd given in. Jasper smiled and began swaying to the tune she hummed. Lapis rested her head on the taller girl's chest and sighed. Jasper kissed the top of her head, making Lapis look up into her eyes. She smiled up at Jasper lovingly. Jasper spun her around and dipped her clumsily making them both laugh. They landed on their bed, laying side by side and holding hands. They lay in silence for awhile before Lapis speaks.
"I love you, Jasper."
"I love you too, Lapis."
