To Whom It May Concern

You're the first thing to come to mind before I even open my eyes
And maybe one day the first sight that'll brighten my whole day
The smile on your face that'll tell me how everything will be okay
The one person that'll make me feel like I've won the best prize
The only girl who's presence will leave me like I'm hypnotized
I can't wait for that day where I first wake up by your side
The first day that I get the chance to say how you make me feel inside
The day that I tell you that you've forever changed my life
You'll be the best friend that I've ever had until the end of time
Even on the days when we just want to say goodbye
We'll find a way to put those differences aside
And those times where our imperfections cause us to collide
That'll only make us look at each other with a feeling of pride
I can only hope that we'll always be able to coincide
I can't even imagine a day without you in my life
And I'll always remember that first day
The day when by chance we happened to meet
The look on your face at that initial greet
I can tell you at first I'll try so hard to win your approval
I'll be putty in your hands because I won't know what I'm doing
And with any luck that won't make you leave
Because after awhile once I finally get to know you
I'll see what you like and find just how to woo you
Maybe I should also let you know something else about me
I'm obligated to inform you that I might be a hopeless romantic
I'll likely indulge in writing you corny love letters and poems
Maybe even prepare you a hand cooked candlelight dinner
Possibly even kiss you out of nowhere for no apparent reason
Or hold you close when we hug and gently kiss your forehead
Also I should tell you that'll you'll likely make me nervous
Other than in writing I'm not very good with my feelings
Say what you will but I'm just being honest
While I'm at it I can also make you a promise
I'll always be available to listen to anything you'd like to
If you want it, then you'll have my undivided attention
I'll sit there in silence as you talk and cause little disruption
Wait till your finished or ask before I'll supply any feedback
Because I know there will be days where this'll be needed
You'll be the light to my darkness and the sun to moon
And no matter what happens I'll always cherish you
One last thing that I think you should know
When this finally happens and I tell you I love you
I'll mean it whole heartedly and I'll truly love you deeply
