So this is what its like to be forgotten
I have to say it's not what I imagined
Usually I enjoy the peace and quite
The time to think and the time to reflect
The time to be alone and free of burden
But once your forgotten you have nothing
Everything you want is gone to never return
Things once bright and colorful fade
Shades and hues of the rainbow
Become nothing but black and gray
The dark and inbetween is all that remains
The light is gone with happy tidings
The memory remains but only to you
This is what it's like to be forgotten
Once forgotten all hope is lost
No one will remember something that never was
Even if it at one point did exist
This is what happens when you fade to black
Shadows of the former life is all that remains
It's as if you got a wish from when you were a kid
That wish for the power of invisibility
Only this power no longer seems fun
Instead it's like a curse that won't ever end
The memories are fading fast
So that even you seem to forget
Once that happens then it's truly the end...
