Viridian in Unova (Pokémon FanFiction)

Chapter 2

"Ladys and Gentlemen, we have arrived in Unova. We hope you have enjoyed your flight."

I opened my eyes and stretched. Had I slept the whole time? Go figure.

I leave the Plane, and look around for this Region's Professor. Professor Oak had told me that her name was Professor Juniper, and was going to give me a ride to Nuvema Town.

"Well hello Yellow." I turn around to find a young woman in a lab coat.

I smile, "Hello. You must be Professor Juniper."

She nodded, "Yes. I am. Welcome to Unova."

I step into the Lab, following Professor Juniper, "So Yellow. I know that you already have a full team of Pokemon, but do you want a Pokemon from here?" She asked me.

I nodded, "Yes please!"

The Professor just laughed at my enthusiasm, "Alright. Choose one of the three." The took out three Pokeballs and sent out three Pokemon. I scanned each one, since my Pokedex had gotten upgraded to National before I left Kanto.

Snivy, Oshuott, and Tepig.

Hm...

"Tepig please. I don't have a Fire type, and it would be interesting to have one." I said.

The Tepig jumped up and down and ran up to me, "Tepig Te!" It squeiled.

I laughed and picked it up, "We're going to be great friends!" I said with a smile, "I'm going to call you Teppy!"

"So Yellow. Are you going after the Badges here?" Professor Juniper's question caught my attention.

I nodded, "I wasn't planning to at first, but my friend Green said that I should."

"Well, that's good. Are you going to try and beat the record for collecting the badges?"

"Possibly. The record is 8 badges in 25 days."

"Actually, that one was beaten. There was one girl who did it in two days, and became the champion on the third."

"Well then never mind. I don't want my jorney to go that quick."

I left the lab after saying goodbye, and headed out to route 1...
