Viridian in Unova (Pokémon FanFiction)

Chapter 11

I opened my eyes to a dim light. I blinked a few times, and sat up.

I wasn't in a Hospital Bed, which was a relief. I was in a normal bed, in a normal room. It was dark out, yet the sun was rising, and the clock said 6:30 AM.

There was another bed, and I could just make out the golden hair of Sakkaku. She was asleep, snoring slightly.

I slipped out of bed and tapped her on the shoulder, "Sakkaku. Wake up. Early Pidgey gets the Wurmple."

She rolled over to face me as she woke up. But she was up instantly when she saw me, "Yellow! You're ok!" She jumped out of bed and squeezed the daylights out of me!

"Can't. Breath!" I gasped.

She let go and let out an embarrassed laugh.

"Wait. What do you mean that you're going to travel with N? What about me?" Sakkaku complained when I explained that I was going to travel with N.

"Sakkaku, N is a Viridian Forest Healer, like me. I want to learn more about him. And don't worry. We'll still be rivals. Heck with it, we may even see each other more often. N hates skipping paths, so if we use the same paths, we're sure to see each other even more than usual." I said in a cheery voice.

Sakkaku shook her head, "Fine. I guess that would work. Just be careful. Team Plasma is becoming even more active in public. And we don't want another run in with that Serviper."

I smiled, "Thanks. I've gotta go now." I grabbed my hat, and noticed sonething.

I had a second Gym Badge.

"Lennora was so happy to get the Dragon Fossil Back, that she said that you didn't need to battle her. You proved yourself against Team Plasma, and that's the reason." Sakkaku said to me.

I grinned. I couldn't wait to show Green.

Wait.

Green!

I've gotta call her! She's probably panicing right now!

"YELLOW! IT'S BEEN OVER A WEEK SINCE YOU LAST CALLED ME! WHERE HAVE YOU BEEN?!" Green yelled at me.

I sighed, "Calm down Green. Something happened, so I wasn't able to contact you. On the bright side, I got my second Gym Badge!" I showed her my hat.

Green's face went from angry to joy, "That's great! How are the Gym Battles in Unova? Are they hard? Are they long? Are they-"

"They're no different than Gym Battles in Kanto Green. Ok? Now I've gotta go. I'm traveling with a friend now."

"Oh! Give me details? What's their name?"

"His name is N." I said.

Then she got on her sly grin, "Oh so it's a Guy?"

"Yeah. So what if he's a guy?" I asked.

"Did you finally get a BoyFriend?" She said in a teasing tone.

"Eh. Sorta." I said.

Puzzlement danced in Green's eyes, "Sorta? What's that supposed to mean?"

"N claimed that he loves me, so I'm going to give him a chance."

"Aww! That's so sweet Yellow! What's he like?"

"Blue-grey eyes. Long shaggy green hair. Mild temper. Soft voice. Super tall."

"Yellow. No offense, but almost everyone's tall to you."

"I know. But I've gotta go. N will be waiting for me." I signed off and rushed outside with my things.

N was waiting for me.

"Hey Yellow." He said, "How are you feeling?"

I smiled, "Good. Are you ready to go? Because I am."

"What about the Gym? I've already gotten my badge, but-"

"I have it. Lennora have it to me for getting back the Dragon Fossil from Team Plasma."

N stiffened at the sound of 'Team Plasma', "So are you Anti-Plasma now?" He asked me.

I shrugged, "Not as much as Sakkaku, and I don't think all of Team Plasma is that bad, but yeah. It's not cool to steal." I shook my head.

"Oh."

"Something wrong?"

"It's just that, I have a friend in Team Plasma."

"So? Is there anything wrong with that?"

"I thought you said that you were Anti-Plasma."

"Only the ones that get on my bad side."

N sighs in relief for some reason, and I just shake it off.

We start off quiet, as we walk the main road of PinWheel Forest. We eventually reach Skyarrow Bridge. As we walk, I couldn't help but notice the Sunset.

I feel N gently grab my hand. He led me to the edge of the bridge, and we just stood there. And I couldn't help but look at N.

The orange lights reflected off his face. His eyes sparkled, and I couldn't help but smile. He looked so...
