Viridian in Unova (Pokémon FanFiction)

Chapter 28

Y's P.O.V.

"You did well. I now present you with the Jet Badge!" Skyla said as she placed the badge in my hand. I took it and pinned it to my hat.

"Those are very interesting colors of feathers." Skyla commented, looking at the three feathers on my hat.

I shrugged, "I just like the color choice. They work well together if you ask me."

Skyla gave me a suspicious look, "Alright. Fair enough. Though I have heard if your powers, and I was wondering if you could help with something."

"I'm listening."

"There's a sick Pokémon on top of the Tower north of here. I've tried everything I can to heal it, but nothing's working. Could you go up for me and see if you could heal it?" She asked.

I nodded and smiled sweetly and innocently, "Sure! I'll be happy to!"

Once I was out of the gym, I took out Kitty, "To the tower north of the city please." I said.

Taretia's P.O.V.

I walked out of the Pokémon Center with Infera by my side.

I looked at my Pokégear, trying to find out where the tower was on the map... There it was!

I took out Silverdive an climbed on his back after returning Infera.

"To the Tower please." I said.

"May I ask why?" It asked me.

"Lia is there waiting for us. Then I'll send you back to the boss, ok?" I said, patting his head.

Silverdive nodded, "Very well. Off we go!"

It didn't take that long to reach the tower.

We landed at the bottom and I took out Renji, my Eevee.

He hopped on my shoulder and gave me one of his toothy grins.

I patted his head after returning Silverdive, "You ready for a little bit of training?" I asked.

He nodded, "Yep! Let's go!" He hopped off and sprinted into the tower. Just like Renji, a bundle of energy.

I followed him inside the tower, and we seeped through the floors pretty quickly, seeing that Renji couldn't be effected by ghost type moves.

We got to the top of the tower, only to find that Y was there! She was talking to Lia.

"Are you sure you're ok? It's not normal for a Lugia to be in Unova, never mind a Shiny Lugia."

"I'm fine. Now leave me alone. I'm waiting for my trainer. Her master told me to come here and wait for her." Lia growled.

"Fine, suit yourself." Y muttered, then she turned around and saw me, "Anne!" She spat.

I walked over to Lia, not bothering to look at Y, "Hello Y. Hello Lia." I pet my shiny Lugia, and he nuzzled me.

"It's been a while Taretia. How had things gone lately?" He asked me.

"Eh, same ush." I said.

Y raised an eyebrow at me, "The Shiny Lugia is your Pokémon?" I nodded an she continued, "So you own two of the three Lugias in the world?"

I rolled my eyes, "Of course not! The normal Lugia belongs to my Boss, Eshadow of Team Sky."

Y's eyes widened, "You're of Team Sky?" She asked.

I nodded, "Yes. I'm one of their best grunts! I'm no weakling like I pretended to be while I was spying on Team Plasma."

Y then growled, "So that's what N meant when he said that you were a traitor!" She then took out her Pikachu, "Chuchu use Thunderbolt!" She yelled.

"Lia use HydroPump!" I yelled.

HydroPump Vs. Thunderbolt. Heh, not a bad combo. But all I did was block Y's attack. I can't attack while blocking, and I dare not send out another Pokémon since there isn't that much room left up here!

I looked down at Renji to ask what he thought, but he was gone!

I looked up to find him charging at Y! Oh no! He's not strong enough to handle her kind of power yet!

I run after him, but he tackles her, knocking her back!

Yellow growled, "You little pest! Take him out Teppy!" She sent out her Pignite, and it started to glow!

Oh no!

It grew bogged and it had a fiery beard. It had evolved into Emboar!

"Renji get back!" I yelled.

Too late!

"Focus Blast!"

Renji was hit easily and was sent flying backwards, but didn't give in.

He stood up shakily, and I guess that I had my luck, because just like Teppy had, he started to glow!

His ears became longer, his eyes were red, he was midnight black, and yellow rings covered his body!

Umbrion!

Renji sprang at Emboar and sent off Shadow Ball on it! Emboar stumbled back and was about to fall over the cliff, so Y returned him.

I climbed on Lia's back and commanded him to fly to the next city. He cut off HydroPump and flew off with me before Thunderbolt reached us.

Ok. Now we have to go home. Or at least to the Unova Team Sky base. I have to return Silverdive to the boss, and tell her about Team Plasma's plans.
