Chapter 23

Silver's P.O.V.

I opened my eyes and blinked.

What just happened?

I remembered being in the middle of a battle with Team Plasma, when I felt my head start to rattle and hurt, then... Nothing. I couldn't remember anything after that.

I stirred a bit, and my hand bumped against something.

I sat up to find that Sakkaku was sleeping by my side, a pained look on her face. Her clothes were ripped and bloody, like something or someone had mobbed her.

Then she started to stir and she opened her eyes, "Wha-? What happened?"

"Beats me." I said.

Sakkaku looked at me, surprise in her eyes, "Hey! You're that friend of Yellow's and the guy I was facing before the attack. Wasn't it Sulver or something?"

"Silver. Not Sulver, Silver." I corrected her.

She rolled her eyes and sat up. "Whatever. We need to find a way out of here."

I looked around, "Question. Where exactly is 'here'?l"

Sakkaku looked around as well, "I think we're in the castle dungeon."

"Castle dungeon?' I repeated.

"My brother's castle. N's Castle. He most likely locked us up here." She explained with bitterness in her tone.

"You brother is in Team Plasma?" I asked in surprise.

"He's more than in. He's King of Team Plasma!" He spat with such sudden harshness, it made me flinch, "N used to be a good person with a pure heart, but no! He has to go listen to father and join an evil organization and become their evil king!" She turned her back to me and banged her head against the bars, "Even father is evil. I've been trying so hard to cut all my ties to Team Plasma and trying to find a lighter path to set my life on. But every time I try, I'm pulled back into the shadows." She started to shake a little bit, and I looked at her face.

She was crying?

"Are you crying?" I asked her.

"N-No." She stuttered, hiding her face.

I sighed, "If you're gonna lye, at least do it at a time when people will believe you. Now what else is wrong?"

"I-It's personal. And you wouldn't understand. Only a Team Heir would understand, not that I want to be one." She muttered.

"I actually would understand." I said, "I'm the Team Rocket Heir, not that I really wanna be."

She turned around, her eyes red from crying, "Really?"

I nodded, "You say that I won't understand, but I think I may surprise you."

Y's P.O.V.

"Alright. There you go." I said as Chuchu jump started up the building's electricity, allowing the doors to the Gym to unlock.

After my battle with Clay, the power in the building 'accidentally' went out. While I knew that the Shadow Triad, who were three shadow ninjas inside of Team Plasma, had cut the power out, under my orders of course. I didn't 'Think' of the idea of using Chuchu's electricity until after the raid on the PWT was over.

"Thank you, youngster. You certainly earned your badge." Clay placed the Quake Badge in my hand, which I pinned to my hat, and the line of badges were getting close to the feathers on my hat.

I had replaced the old SilverWing and RainbowWing with new feathers. The feathers are black, white, and blue, Team Plasma colors. It was a sign that I was part of Team Plasma, but not so obvious that the cops would catch me. That would be bad. Because I would not only be dragged off to prison, but I would be questioned on Team Plasma, and might even be used as bait to lure N to the fuz, and we certainly wouldn't want N ending up in the cooler.

(A/N: Oh my Arceus! I can't believe I just said something like that! I was writ'n all gangsta and all! Oh my Arceus! Can I get HighFives for that? Or at least a vote or two? XD)

Anyhow, I gotta stop getting off topic.

I leave the Gym to find Red outside with a pretty p*ssed off look on his face, "Now how are you going to explain yourself Yellow?" He said in a cold voice, scaring me a little.

"W-What are you talking about?" I stuttered.

Red gave me an icy glare, "You weren't at the PWT. Not even when Team Plasma attacked! Do you realize that Silver, Blue, Sapphire, Misty, and Sakkaku were all kidnapped by those *ssholes?!"

"Th-The gym power was cut, and we couldn't get out!" I said in a small voice.

Red then grabbed me by my shoulders and pinned me against the building, "TaurosSh*t! You think I believe that the power was just cut off? Did you think I wouldn't find the connection?!" His intimidating red eyes bored into my soul, scaring me.

"R-Red! W-What's wrong with you?!" I said, terrified.

He snarled, "No! What's wrong with you! How could you betray us like this?! Betray me?! How?! Why?!"

I struggled to get out of his grip, "R-Red! Please stop! You're scaring me!" I whimpered.

"Well you should be Yellow. Or should I say-" he cut off short, getting closer to my face, rage boiling beneath his blazing gaze,

"Queen Y of Team Plasma!"
