Chapter 14

I opened my eyes to hear N's snoring.

Perfect!

I slip out of bed and open the window. It's a 100 story drop from here, but I've got that covered.

I bring out Kitty and fly to the bottom of the building.

Once I'm at the bottom, I rush off to the east.

I'm coming for you Sakkaku!

I'm just outside the base, and I have everything I need. Kitty is holding on to me, I'm holding Chuchu, all my other Pokémon are in their Pokeballs. All I've gotta do now is infiltrate.

I cautiously walk inside, waiting for the floor to open up.

Perfect timing.

I feel myself start to fall, and we go into the black once more.

But this time, I'm ready.

After a few minutes of falling...

"Now Kitty!" I whisper.

Kitty spreads his wings so that we stop falling and just float there.

I can hear voices...

"Shouldn't the intruder of showed up by now?"

"Maybe they got away before they fell into the hole."

"Let's go up and check. Anne, keep watch and make sure nothing comes down."

I then hear fading footsteps, and I return Kitty. I come through the bottom, hand on Teppy's Pokeball.

I land with a slight thud, and I'm surprised to see which grunt was left behind.

"It's you again!" She squeaked.

It was the girl from the PinWheel Forest! The one who had helped me!

"What are you doing here?" She asked me.

"I'm here to rescue a friend." I said simply.

Anne smiled, "I can help you out if you want. I still owe you from not attacking me in PinWheel."

"But what about Ghetsis? Won't he get mad?" I asked.

"I'll be fine. Lord Natural protected me. He was actually glad that I helped you."

Lord Natural? Was that their king?

Strange name...

But I nodded, "Yes please. I just need to know where my friend is being held."

"Is she the one with the golden hair who keeps ramming herself against the bars?"

"Sounds like Sakkaku alright."

Anne told me the way, and I thanked her. But before leaving...

"Wait!" She said, "I almost forgot something!" She ruffled through her bag, until she pulled out a belt with three Pokeballs.

"You might want these."

I took the belt, and saw that these were Sakkaku's Pokémon!

I smiled, "Thanks Anne. May you have the best days granted by Arceus."

I walked down the prison hall, to where Sakkaku was. She was curled up in a little ball, her eyes looking dull.

"Sakkaku!" I hissed.

She looked up and smiled, "You came back for me! Thank Arceus! And are those my Pokémon?"

I nodded and gave them to her. She hugged them and smiled, "Oh Thank you!" She whispered.

"Don't thank me. Thank Anne. She's a Team Plasma Grunt who helps me a lot. She told me how to get to the Dragon Fossil, how to get to you, and gave me your Pokémon." I then took out a Lock Pick and unlocked the door.

I then walked in and knelt down to her, "Can you walk?"

She shook her head, so I brought out Dody. I then put her on his back and I lead my bird out of the prison cell.

"INTRUDER!" I looked behind me to find the Grunt with the scar.

By his side, was his Serviper!

He snarled, "I don't know how you survived, but you're not gonna make it out a second time!"

His Serviper started slithering towards me, and it's tail started glowing in a purple hue.

"Poison Tail!" The Grunt Snarled.
