Chapter 37 (Sakkaku and Silver's Ending)

Sakkaku's P.O.V.

I was woken up by some murmuring and saw Silver was talking with someone on the phone. I looked at my clock. It was 2:39 AM... Who would be calling this early?

Silver turned around after hanging up and saw me awake, "Oh! Sakkaku! You're awake! Good... I need to talk to you..."

I sat up, "If this is about me permanently borrowing your dinner, then you're thinking wired things.'

Silver just stared at me, "You were the one who-" He face palmed, "No... Not about that... About something more serious... And you're not going to like it..."

I sat up, "What is it?"

"... I'm leaving Unova, and I'm never coming back..." He muttered.

My eyes widened, "Huh?! Why?!"

Silver looked away, "Personal reasons Sakkaku... And you can't come with me..."

Then I realized something, "Wait, does that mean we're... Breaking up?"

Silver nodded slowly, "I'm sorry Sakkaku... I love you with all my heart... But I need to go..."

Silver's P.O.V.

"Are you sure you want to go?!" Sakkaku asked franticly. A sharp pain hit my heart... It pains me to see her like this... But she'd stop me if she knew the true reason I was leaving... What that call last night was really about...

I nodded, "Yes... Besides, I'm a rude selfish jerk... You deserve better than me..."

Sakkaku clung onto my arm, "No your not! You're a secret sweet heart who showed me love when I was about to give up!"

She's obviously not going to give me up easily... I guess I have no choice...

I narrowed my eyes and said coldly, "Is that what you think? Then you don't know me at all!" I forcefully pushed her off of me and stormed onto the plane. The door closed and I sat down, tears streaking down my face... I hate myself for doing that... But it was the only way she would ever let me go...

"That was quite a show out there." I looked to find some scientist with some strange hairstyle, "You certainly have talent.... Shame it isn't to good use yet."

I glared at him, "I'm only here because of the deal Colress. You take me prisoner, and you leave Sakkaku alone."

I heard footsteps and the sound of a cane hitting the floor, "True. Just as we discussed last night Silver." Ghetsis... It turns out that he had managed to escape from the grunts and now was going to lead a darker Team Plasma.

"Sir, may I ask why we want the boy? He would never join us, and what good does a prisoner do us if no one knows he's being held captive?" Zinzolin asked Ghetsis.

Colress answered, "Simple. He is prisoner, therefore powerless against us... So we're going to turn his skills into something useful." A red beam was suddenly shot between my eyes and I felt my senses slip away...

"Sleep well Silver... Tomorrow, you wake up to your true power..."

(Duh duh duh! Oooooh! Cliffhanger at the end of the book! Looks like you'll have to read the sequels to find out what happens! :) But seriously, when the sequels come out, please read them. Sakkaku's sequel is going to be called "Back Again" and Yellow and N's is going to be called "Viridian on the Run". I'm going to try and post them together. But I'm probably going to finish ASL first.[But then again, I did say I would finish this before starting "A Hunting Ranger"'s sequel, and I didn't. But we'll just have to see.] Anyhow, thanks for reading! I will post the sequel soon!)
