"Three!"

Jim pushed Sarah and Delbert, silently praying they'd land straight in the carriage. Thankfully, they did. Jim then grabbed your wrist and you jumped down first, landing in your bum on the hood of the carriage. You dropped down and immediately sat down. Jim was dropped right next to you and Delbert immediately pulled on the reigns to pull the carriage.

When we were a safe distance away from the Inn, Sarah looked back in shock,

The Benbow Inn was on fire. And there was nothing she could do about it. There was nothing they could do about it. Sarah couldn't even look anymore. She had her head in her hand in frustration. You pitied her and Jim. You assumed it was the only option they had to stay alive. Jim looked at his now angry, broken and frustrated mother. He wanted to say something.

Anything.

A simple sorry, but he couldn't.

He messed up really bad.

You sat there, not knowing what to do. And to think that everything was starting to get better...

You safely arrived at Delbert's house. It was more of a library, really. Considering the fact that he's an astronomer. But it was safe and secure enough to be called home. You browsed through some books while the other three talked.

Delbert wrapped a blanket around Sarah, who was staring blankly at the fire. Jim was right there, regretting everything he did. But in the same time, he did something kind of right. He brought a sickly cyborg into their home.

"- The Benbow Inn has burned to the ground." That sentence caught your attention. You looked up from a novel you were reading and placed it back on the shelves.

Sarah sighed in frustration. You awkwardly fiddled with your thumbs. You didn't know much about them, heck, you were only here for about a day. Delbert then tried his best to talk, so he changed the subject, talking about the interesting and mysterious globe. The globe that was given to Jim for protection. And to think that it was from an old cyborg.

As Delbert ranted on, saying that it could take him years to open the small, golden globe. You then turned and widened you eyes when Jim was fiddling with the globe, pressing some buttons and twisting it with a smirk. You reached out to stop him and grab the ball, but the most ironic thing happened. The globe suddenly started to glow. Well, not really glowing. But faint, green light glowed from the lines and shapes that were intricately drawn in patterns.

Delbert and Sarah gasped, you were just as shocked. The same, green glow made a large circle around the room. On the ground where the huge circle spanned, was like a graph, so was the outside of the huge dome. Then, planetary objects and celestial bodies formed inside the dome. You all stared in awe. You also knew this was definitely Delbert's type of excitement.

"This..." Delbert looked around, observing the different celestial bodies. The different planets were slowly spinning, continuing a revolution. Stars were either forming into giants, black holes were sucking in objects and bringing them out into, possibly, another dimension- Okay, Delbert knew better than that. You looked at the familiar figures, having an odd feeling you've been to one of these planets before. But one planet caught you attention, though it looked all green, you had a feeling this was Montressor.

[Sorry, I don't know the spelling of the planet they live in. •~•]

And you were right, Delbert pointed at the small planet and touched it. To him it felt like he wasn't touching anything, but once he 'touched' it, the dome moved and it felt like they were travelling in the galaxy, except that they were still in their same place.
