"GAH!" You heard Delbert cry out. You turned to see him in his now destroyed, and rather over-buffed up space suit. He was able to help himself up, but you weren't sure how long until he'll eventually want to take that suit off.
A little later, you dozed off once more and watched from the deck. The view was amazing. The wind was in your (H/C) hair, sending a wave of odd nostalgic feelings toward you. Everything around you were a mixture of black, and galaxy colors, sprinkled with meteors, stars, and planets big and small. You gave a sigh in content.
"Like the view?" The familiar voice of Jim brought you back to reality. You stared up at him, and he quickly turned away, pretending he never stared at you at all. You caught a shade of pink tinted on his cheeks and you smirked, looking back at the outside and wonderful galaxy.
"Yep," You leaned more on the railing. You heard shuffling from beside you, and you turned to see Jim climbing on the rope ladders- At least you called them that. "All of this feels... Familiar, for some reason."
"Maybe you were a pirate once," You saw Jim shrug from he corner of your eye. Without you knowing, he's been sneaking glances at you. He's been curious about you ever since Delbert told about you having you memory lost. He's noticed a few things; You doze off a lot, he assumed that your memories come to you in bits in pieces but in random moments, and a few... other things, he'd rather not mention.
Anyway, you turn to him and raise an eyebrow, "A pirate? Wouldn't I remember pushing people off the plank and into outer space?"
He shrugged in response, smirking and supporting himself with one hand on the rope and once hand in the air. "Just guessing, (Y/N)." He smiled at you, "Just guessing."
You looked down to a hide a blush. For some reason, a smile gave you chills.
"'Eya, Jimbo and (N/N)," You turn to see Mr. Silver holding something behind him that you both couldn't see. "I've got a few friends I'd like ye to meet,"
Jim looked around a little excitedly, and you just tilted your head in curiosity.
"Meet Mr. Mop," he threw a mop towards Jim and another towards you, "and Mrs. Bucket!" He threw a bucket towards Jim.
You rolled your eyes. So much for Jim's excitement.

You were still cleaning the deck floor and muttering under your breath- Things like wondering why, out of all jobs in a ship, must you be cleaning the floor. You could've been helping on the kitchen, eating the Perps secretly or 'tasting' the stew. But did Mr. Silver think of anything like that? No.
You would occassionally bump into Jim and both of you would apolagize in unison.
After a while of cleaning, you joined Jim in one part of the deck where the floor decided not to show their reflections. You overheard part of the crew whispering to each other, and Jim couldn't help but stare at them. When they noticed, they immediately shut up, and Jim pretended he wasn't trying to eavesdrop. You heard a low, hiss or growl and looked up. You were surprised to see a hybrid of a giant ant, spider and scorpion creature moving towards the both of you. You were about to ask something, but you were cut off when he spoke in an intimidating tone (with a mixture of hissing. Who knew the creature could be half snake, too?)
"Cabin boys-" the Spider guy turned towards you, "... And girls need to mind their own business." He crouched down and gave you both an intimidating look in the eye. Jim played with it and continued mopping.
"Keeping secrets, are we, bright eyes?" Jim smirked. You widened your eyes as the Spider guy growled and grabbed him by the neck. "Hey! Let him go!" You tried to jump and reach for his claws, but you were pulled back by one of the cheering crewmates. You struggled against the grip and you were yelling for them to stop. Jim didn't seem to be phases d by what was going on, but he was determined to get off his claws. Dying like that would have been lame.
After spitting insults at each other (with Jim's great efforts), Mr. Silver came to the deck to sort of rescue Jim, in a way that all he had to do was stand proud and look intimidating. It worked, since the Spider guy put Jim down immediately. Silver grabbed the Spider guy by the arm, chuckling.
"Do ya want to know what happens when you give a Perp a real good squeeze?" His sarcastic tone dripped off his voice, sending shivers down my spine. Spider guy groaned when Silver squeezed his arm. He let go, and you immediately yanked Jim's arm for him to back away as well. It was then his turn to hold your wrist and lead you as far away from them as possible.
"Okay. What was that about?! You could've got yourself killed!" You whisper - shouted.
"Aw," he smirked at you, "Concerned for me already?"
You held your cool, but on the inside your stomach felt like it was full of butterflies- As corny as it sounds, it actually did feel like it.
"You're the one who brought me to this expedition, you're the one who wanted to get to Treasure Planet. Having you killed isn't the best option, Jim." You managed to let out.
He was about to say something, but you heard Silver's voice from behind you.
"Ye two had one job!"
"Hey, it wasn't my fault!" Jim quickly said.
Here we go, You thought.
"It was the psycho's idea, Mr. Silver." You decided to defend him. He gave us both a look.
"Fer now, I don't care who started what. Get the job done. If I find a spot unwashed, I'll make sure you'll be busy the whole day tomorrow!" He shoved the mops back on your chest, and you groaned.
You shrugged and nudged Jim on the elbow. "We have to get this done. He gave us a mop-the-deck session, who knows what job he has for us tomorrow," he nodded. "And this time, no eavesdropping on the creey crewmates."
He nodded again. This time, woth a wink and a mock salute- All the more reason for you to immediately continue with your chores.

"Well this was a fine day, huh?" You heard Jim talk to Morph, who had recently joined in the mop-the-deck fun. "Making new friends, like that Spider Psycho." He said while wiggling his fingers at Morph. You turned to them and chuckled when Morph morphed into a perfect replica of Spider guy.
"Spider Psycho! Spider Psycho!" Morph repeated.
"Hm, not psycho enough." Jim rubbed his chin. Then morph's Spider Psycho head became larger, and he started laughing maniacly.
"Pretty close, Morph!" You commented
That's for meeting Mr. Mop and Mrs. Bucket, and the Spider Psycho.

Thanks so much for your comments on the previous IMPORTANT notice. It means a lot, and I might as well do it. I mean, why not?
But believe me, it's going to take a while for me to make a decent plot. Maybe even some plot twist if I still have it in me. I only have a synopsis of the story, and I'll have to kinda extend it. My goal is to have more than twenty chapters, not including Author's Notes and IMPORTANT notices.
So yeah, I'll post it on my group on Facebook, on my Conversation here in Wattpad, and I'll post it here, when I published at least one chapter. I'm so excited about this and I hope it will be a success!
So yeah, see you in the next update! 😊
