Ji Yong's POV
Her being my girlfriend didn't change much. We interacted in almost the same way. The only difference was how we looked at each other, less awkward cuddling, a lot of forehead and cheek kisses, handholding, and we erased the border in the middle of the bed. We often fell asleep in each other's arms. But the only thing was that we hadn't kissed yet or done anything past cuddling.

And around the guys, she acted like I wasn't her boyfriend unless I did something first. I guess she's just shy.

Today would be my third day of training her to fight. We'd been working on this training for almost six days now. She was at the point where I could do short fights with her on the mat if I went a little easy on her. We never hit each other hard, it was more about timing and technique. I taught her how to predict where a person would punch and how to fake out a person. She was scarily good at fighting once I helped her figure out the basics. 6 days and she already knew the technique for breaking an arm.

"Ji Yong? I'm ready." She came down into the basement in her shorts and tank top with her ponytail. Simple, plain, ordinary, gorgeous. I had to bite my lip to hold back a giant smile. Wait. She's my girlfriend now. I can smile like an idiot when I see her if I want to. I let my smile show, grinning ear to ear.

"Beautiful." I chuckled. "Warm up and let's see how much you remember."

She remembered more than I thought she would, only a little sloppy on a few moves. But it was overall good. She just needed to use more strength in her attacks. "Not bad. Just... Use your strength, Eun-Mae. I know it's in there somewhere. You're holding back." I placed my hands on her shoulders, resting my chin on her head. "Why are you holding back lately? These past two days, you've been holding back. Why?"

I guess we're both holding back. She won't punch properly and I'm too nervous to kiss her. I was so confident the day I confessed but I always feel so starstruck around her now that I don't think I can kiss her.

"I... I don't know." She frowned, staring at the punching bag. "I just... Ugh. I'm just so... Ugh!" The frustration was evident in her face, her body language, and her voice.

"What's wrong?" I sighed, pulling her into a hug so that she could hide her face in my shirt. She loved to do that when she was upset or when we were cuddling.

"It's just so much to take in all at once." Her voice cracked and tears filled her eyes. "Shooting, fighting, being part of a gang, getting a tattoo. A few weeks ago, I was an intern at a law firm." She hid her face in my shoulder and a sad smile made its way on my face and I held her tighter. "This is a huge transition. You all expect so much from me and I don't know if I can even do this. Be a part of something like this. I can't do this... I hate violence. I hate crime. That's why I went into law."

"This is mainly to keep you safe. You don't have to do anything violent unless someone tries to hurt you. This is just self defense. Okay? And the tattoo is just to make this more official." My voice was as soft as possible. I wanted to comfort her but I wasn't sure what to say to her.

"Ji Yong, I-I just... I can do things for the gang but I can't hurt anyone. That's not who I am." She looked down.

"You don't have to." I let go of her and cupped her cheeks, looking into her eyes. "You don't have to hurt anybody."

"I want to prove my worth, Ji Yong. I just don't know how..." She turned to look at the punching bag. "I have to keep training. Maybe then-"

"Eun-Mae."

"What?" She frowned.

"Let's just call it a day." I murmured, kissing her cheek. "You can clear your head and rest your body. We'll start again some other time. I'm going out to run an errand but you know where things are. Just remember not to be alone with Taeyang." I ran my hands over her arms gently before heading towards the doors.

"Wait. Can I come with you?" She sounded so cute. Ughhhhh!!! I wanna say yes so bad, jagiya... But your safety!!

"No." My voice came out harsh and I immediately cursed myself.

"It's a violent errand isn't it? What is it this time?" She crossed her arms and looked at me in the eyes.

"It's... I can't tell you." I just wanted her safe. She frowned and walked away from me without a word. "Wait. Eun-Mae... I'm going out to get some money this one prick owes me. I transported his girlfriend safely even though he doesn't even care about her and he promised me five grand. I want the five grand."

"And if he doesn't give it to you?" She looked at me with a raised eyebrow.

"I kill him." He shrugged. "I've given him enough time."

"What if I go to get it for you? You come with me, send me in, and I use my lady charms to get it out of him." She suggested with a smirk. "Remember that dress I got recently for special occasions? I could use that."

I finally realized what she meant. That dress was extremely short and tight, making her curves stand out and look perfect. It even had a low neckline. She wanted to act seductive to get the money from him. "He's more likely to give the money to a hot chick than an angry guy."

"Fine. Just go get ready. Hurry up." I watched as she ran off, leaning against the wall. She came down twenty minutes later. She had taken a shower, gotten dressed, done her make-up, and curled the ends of her hair. The red cloth hugged her body in a way that made it hard to breathe. "If he touches you, scream. Okay?"

"Yes, Ji Yong." She giggled. "I know what I'm doing." I sighed and looked at her feet. High heels. She's wearing high heels! I pressed a kiss to the tip of her nose before picking her up. Her dress was so short that I had to let her pull it down every now and then.

I carried her to the van and we drove up to the building. It was a bar. I stayed by the door and pointed out the man. She nodded and waited until another guy left from his table. It was just him, a guard, and Eun-Mae. The way he looked at her made me uncomfortable.

Just get the money and let's go. I don't like how much he likes you.
