Chapter 12: Forever & Always

Through out the weeks, Hiro started acting... Weird. I couldn't talk, but when I would surprise hug him, or something, he would jump, and he never had before... When I questioned him, he just shrugged, and acted like nothing happened.

Hiro's POV

"(Y-Y/N) w-will you marry me?" I said. "Too nervous." Fred said. "Hiro, just be yourself." Honey said. "Woman up genius, you know she's gonna say yes." Gogo said. "Yeah, but-" "Hiro it's simple." Wasabi said. "How would you know!" I snapped. "Sorry... I'm just nervous about how I should ask her..." "We know Hiro. Just relax, and try again." Hone said. I took a deep breath, "(Y/N), I love you. You're the best thing that's ever happened to me... And I can't see my life without you... (Y/N)... Will you marry me?" I asked. "Yes!" Honey squealed. "That's the one man." Wasabi said. "You really think so?" I asked. "Definitely" Fred said. "Okay, so now where..." Zoe said. "At our tree, so Honey will be recording-" "Of course!" Honey said. "And the-" "Rest of us will be watching from far away." V finished. "Right." I said. This is all going together. Now if she will just say yes...

Hmmm, I thought, but I began to walk to the park. 

At the park, and by our tree, I moved aside the long, draping leaves, and my eyes widened. On either side of me were, and in a straight line, were Japanese Cherry Blossom Trees, and Crepe Myrtles. The breeze blew softly, showering down the pink petals here and there. I smiled, as I looked in front of me where Hiro was standing beside our tree. I walked up to him, and he was smiling pretty wide too. I figured this was the moment. I smiled in greeting. "H-Hey." He said nervously. I pointed at the trees with a questioning look. "O-Oh, their for a special occasion." He said. I nodded, trying to hide my smile. He swallowed thickly. I cocked my head to the side, still asking why I was here. He took a deep breath, grabbed my hands, got down on one knee, and said clearly, "(Y/N), I love you. I will always love you. You're the best thing that's ever happened to me, and... I can't see my life without you by my side... (F/N) will you marry me?" He asked.  I couldn't speak, but my mouth was open. I wanted to talk... I wanted to let him know that this was a definite yes... Then I felt it, traveling through me, until it just came out. "Yes!" I squealed, and tackled him in a hug. I kissed him, "I love you too!" He chuckled. "I got it!" an excited voice said. Honey came skipping out from behind the tree. "Finally!" Gogo's voice said. "Yeah, congrats guys." Wasabi said as they walked up to Hiro and I. "I'm thinking that the honeymoon can be on the family island." Fred said. I couldn't stop smiling. Zoe hugged me. "Oh! I'm so excited!" She squealed. "Yeah, congrats little sis." Ray said. That's when they all realized it. "You talked!" they said together. I shrugged. "Can you?" V asked, strangely gentle. I laughed, "Yes." "You can talk!" They all said again. Hiro squeezed me again. "I love you." he whispered, so only I could hear. The others were still raving about me talking. "I love you too Hiro. Forever." "And always." He said kissing me.
