"This is like the longest pregnancy ever." I stated.
"You're only six days late, some people are pregnant longer." Hiro said. I glared at him. Did he not understand how hard this was?
"Why?" I yelled to the ceiling.
"What?" Hiro asked jumping.
"Cramp." I mumbled. Hiro sighed. We were sitting in the hospital, trying to figure out what was happening with me.
"These doctors suck." I said. Hiro laughed. "They do, first they couldn't tell us the gender, and now they don't know why he or she won't come out." I said.
"Daddy, what's wrong with mommy?" Tadashi asked. Hiro picked him up and set him on his lap.
"Nothing, mom is just tired." Hiro said. I had to smile at our son. He was so adorable with my eyes and Hiro's hair. However, Aunt Cass told me that Tadashi looked like that when he was a baby. I began to wonder if he would grow up to look like him. He already seemed to act like him. Tadashi had to have a book read to him before he went to sleep and he could already count, and say his ABC's.
"Mr. and Mrs. Hamada?" The doctor asked coming in.
"Yes?" I asked.
"We may just have to do a c-section on you." He said.
"What?" I asked.
"Well..."The doctor said uneasily.
"Well what?" I asked.
"The baby is breeched." He said startled. Time stopped. My baby was breeched? That would explain a lot of things.
"Well what are we waiting for?" I asked.
The surgery was happening. I was awake and alone. Hiro was outside with Tadashi because everyone was too busy to come down and watch him. That and I didn't want Tadashi to see this and be scarred for the rest of his life. You'll be fine, I told myself. I took many deep breaths as they went on.
"How are you feeling mam?" A nurse asked. She had chocolate brown hair tied back into a ponytail and brown eyes that searched my face for a reaction.
"Okay." I admitted.
"You're doing really well."She said sitting by my head.
"Thanks, but I am really scared." I said. She smiled at me.
"Don't worry we're almost done." She said. I closed my eyes and didn't open them until I herd a cry. It sounded different from Tadashi's too.
"What is it?" I asked. The nurse came around holding a baby wrapped in a pink blanket.
"I have a girl?" I asked. She smiled as she handed her to me.
"You sure do." She said. (G/N) reached her arms out as she cried. I held her close to me as the doctors finished patching me up.
I was rolled in a wheelchair back to my room. I wondered where Hiro was, but I was okay since I had my baby girl.
Some time later, the door burst open. Hiro was breathing hard as he smiled at me.
"We h-have a g-girl!" He said. I nodded as he walked up to me. I handed her to him as Tadashi came to see what all the fuss was about.
"Who's that?" Tadashi asked.
"That's your little sister." I replied smiling. Tadashi stared at her, trying to decide if she was a good thing or a bad thing.
"Look at her." Hiro said bending down so Tadashi could see her. Tadashi peered down at her.
"I guess she's okay." He finally decided. Hiro and I laughed. Our family was now complete.
