The summer was long and agonising in the Noran household Natalie had left when her parents returned and she seemed extremely happy to do so which was rather suspicious however Rosie thought it was do to her father's angry and sometimes violent actions.

Mr Noran had been drinking everyday, all day until he passed out and Rosie couldn't handle it any longer.

It was around 1 o'clock in the morning when Rosie heard her father downstairs probably destroying something then repairing it and then destroying it again in a pointless cycle until he got all his anger out.

She ran downstairs with her dressing gown billowing behind her. Skidding to a stop by the kitchen door Rosie crouched down to listen. Various profanities could be heard through the door as Rosie opened it and stepped inside.

"Get out Rosie" her father spat from his position in front of a destroyed vase with a half drunk bottle of fire whisky. She returned his glare, a burst of confidence filling her as she spoke, "Dad, give me the bottle.". "What makes you think you can tell me what to do!" He sneered as Rosie's anger grew, "Dad!" She yelled, "give me the bloody bottle. NOW!". Rosie watched in horror as her father stood from his seat raised his right arm and slapped her.

A red mark scorched Rosie's skin 'yep, that's gonna bruise.' She thought and turned again to meet her fathers eyes "Give me the bottle or I'm leaving" she said softly with tears clouding her vision. Her father looked momentarily shocked but a cold expression soon returned to his aged face, "Fine. Get out." He sneered.

The girl stomped out of the room and stormed upstairs to her room packing her trunk as fast as she could before leaving the house.

Rosie had been wondering around in no particular direction for about 10 minutes when it occurred to her that she needed to go somewhere so she made a list in her head of places she could go, she would go to Natalie's but her parents were often busy and she didn't want to put them under more stress with a second child to care for, then there was Agnes but she was on Holiday right now, her first choice however he had told her of the many death eater meetings and she wouldn't want to risk seeing her mother again. Of course there was always her cousin Nymphadora on her mothers side but she was always so busy with the order of the Phoenix. So that only left her one option ...

Before Rosie could finish her thought a purple triple decker bus zoomed into view. A tall, ugly man was stood at the door, "Hello there love." He said in a slightly hoarse voice, "um hello." Rosie replied politely. "Hop on then we don't have all day." The guy said offering Rosie a hand and then pulling her into the purple bus. Inside were a row of beds with a chandelier swinging above them. "Where to?" The tall man asked, "The burrow." Rosie replied with not much confidence as she didn't know this person.

Suddenly another voice caught her attention, "You heard her Ernie drive man." The voice said with a heavy accent, Rosie looked for the source of the voice and was shocked when she found it, "Buckle up. It's gonna be a bumpy ride!" The head said as it swung from the mirror. Abruptly the bus raced forward narrowly missing muggle cars or some times muggles themselves!

Rosie sat perched on the end of the first bed occasionally being thrown backwards when the bus stopped and on one occasion falling of the bed and onto another waking the sleeping wizard who occupied it!

About half a hour later the bus stopped on a small road near a field causing Rosie to be flung across her bed at the unexpected stop the tall man tutted and helped her off the floor whilst informing her that she would have to get off here.

Rosie shuffled down the path to the burrow immediately feeling guilty for not owling first.

The crooked structure of the burrow came into view after Rosie had walked about a quarter of a mile Dow. The dirt path after another 10 minutes of walking she was at the front door of the burrow.

The watch on Rosie's wrist read 2:13am  causing her to feel even worse about intruding. However she was out of options and was sure that the Weasleys would welcome her with open arms as thy always had, or at least she hoped they would.

Rosie knocked on the wooden door to be greeted by a shuffling of feet and a very groggy redhead pulling the door open grunting at the effort required for the action, "Rosie?"
