After Rachel left Finn, he felt like a new life was needed. He decided to go back home to his roots and went back to Lima to clear his mind and start a new beginning. Finn felt like the place that he could go to clear his mind was in the choir room, he always felt like something more in there. Brad The Piano Player and the band had all came into the choir room and sat to start playing a song because they could tell that after all these years, Finn had come back to sing a song.
